Hello people, I thought I'd make a guide for those who want to use (Or learn about) barbarians. I don't mind if you post comments, questions or things that will make this guide better. I'll update if you post helpful things for the guide.
1. Attributes
Strength (Str)
- Increases physical attack power
- Increases physical defense
Dexterity (Dex)
- Increases ranged attack power
- Raises critical hit rate
- Raises accuracy
- Rasies evasion
Vitality (Vit)
- +17 hp
- Increases hp regeneration
- Increases physical and magical defense
Magic (Mag)
- +7 mp
- Increases magic power
- Increases magical defense
- Increases mp regeneration
2. Builds and Their Pros and Cons
1. Tanker Build
Armor: Heavy
Str Follow equipment req
Dex Follow equipment req (I recommend having 60 dex at endgame, because the critical rate, accuracy and evasion helps)
Vit Everything left over
Mag 0
The Tanker Build is the recommended build, and the most popular. Parties/squads and factions LOVE this type. The Tanker Build tanks, tanks, and tanks. But, you won't level very quickly at low levels.
2. Str-Based Damage dealer
Armor: Heavy
Str 6
Dex 2
Vit 2
Mag 0
This build levels quickly at low levels, but the low hp WILL kill you later on, and you won't be as popular in parties/squads and factions. If you REALLY want high damage, be a Blademaster.
3. Hybrid/Mix (Light, Heavy)
Armor: Light for magical enemies and heavy for physical enemies
Str 5
Dex 3
Vit 2
Mag 0
This is just like 1, except you'll have more dex which WILL help you. Once again, because of your low health, you'll die A LOT more often. However, it makes it easier to tank magical enemies.
4. Arcane
Armor: Arcane
Str 4
Dex 2
Vit 0
Mag 4
This is a crappy build. DON'T try it. You can't tank (No added points in Vit) well, and you'll get killed quick early on because most beginning enemies are physical, and barbarians are melee damage. Although this HAS been tested, it's horrible. But you can try it if you want a challenge. However, later on, magical enemies won't do as much damage to you because of your high magical defense, but because of your low health, you'll probably die anyway.
