Getting bored to easily?

I love this game, the music, landscape, pvp, everything.

I think back and think how much I miss it, but then play and get bored after about an hour...

I have 2 accounts, a level 30 cleric and 20 something assassin...

What can I do to make it more fun?

Is it because I'm such a low level, or what is it?

Tons of things from lvl 40+ onwards.

BH (Bounty Hunt) runs as Skimi has said begins at lvl 40.
There's Rebirth Alpha for lvl 40-55, Beta for lvl 56-70, etc etc.
There are a lot of bosses to fight after that.
You get your ultis at lvl 59.
There's Twilight Temple (TT) at lvl 60.
    Etc etc.

And since you're a cleric, you can go around helping people with their instances, random boss fights or just buffing/ressing.

Not sure for you, but I find working with others, studying bosses/instances, and just browsing AH (auction house/auctioneer) rather fun. Might look into PVP in future.

To each their own - I had a lot more fun at lower levels.

Find a group of silly people. That makes the game much much more fun.

When I get bored with PWI, I go kill people in the other MMO I play. When I get bored in it, I come back to PWI for a while.

For me - I have played every class on every race to at least level 40. Personally I think that until level 30 at least you can solo everything and just kind of push to get to at least that point. After that, then it's about having fun with other people.

That's where it gets to be more fun - it's the definition of a MMO, you squad with people, you get in factions, you communicate and play with other people.

Yeah, mindlessly killing a zillion mobs over and over again can get boring.

You could always work on your crafting skills and gather mats for them.
Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

So it does get more social?

That's one of the main things I was noticing, not many people were interacting with each other.

I'll try get my assassin or cleric up to 40 :)

    Thanks.

The daily quests start at 40, and those pretty much force people to be somewhat social.

Sadly most lower levelled avatars are alts, and tend to be chatting, if they chat at all, in guild.

We're both on dream. If you're online in 3.5hours give us a bell and I'll fetch my tiny little level 30 minibarb to come give you a paw.

ive been playing awhile now and i wil admit there are days where i get bored or am just not motivated to play at all and i think thats ok. taking a break from a game is a good thing from time to time because if you dont it wil get boring. as for it being more fun at a higher level i would agree with that just because there are more things you can do at a higher lvl. If you like to pvp then being a higher level would make the game more enjoyable. but if you get bored with the game just log off and do something elce for a little while and before you do play again think of things you need or want to do while your logged in. if you do that you'll play the game longer accomplish things on your character and as you see yourself grow you'll look forward to playing and accomplishing new goals in the game.

Good Luck and keep at it

Yes, it gets more social. You might have to switch factions if you don't find one to your liking. What I do a lot is just go over to a place where I need a boss and hang out a bit and see who shows up and ask if I can join in with their group. It's a nice way to meet new people and maybe find a faction you like.

Get some friends and a good faction. :D Even if you're not doing BH's and such yet, like me, it still can be a lot of fun.

You get 40, you get to do BH's which cannot be done without squad (Unless you're a herc veno that solos everything)

You get 60, you get to go to TT for farming higher level gear.

80+, you get FF where you can just AoE the **** out of everything that's there for the best exp gain at that level (Besides RB)

a friend of mine says the game starts at level 50, but that was before bounty hunters at level 40. BH's are great for socialising because you almost never squad with the same person twice

Yeah...when I was your level I would totally get bored doing quest after quest. Plus, I had left several factions because..well..they weren't for me. I took a break, and came back and totally got right into it again. Don't give up yet!! b:chuckle

For me as a cleric the game got really fun once I hit 40. As a lot of other people said you have a lot more opportunities to sqaud with people and make friends from then on
