As in pking in the secret passage, afaik it is, dont know if I should sent in a ticket or not but is kinda annoying while Im on an alt and that server dbag is just in my way >.>

    its only bannable if he keeps doing it, just killing is allowed. camping is not

    People get banned for PKing in secret passage when they deny other people access to the game. When they eased back and let other people have their fun, they are ok.

    But apparently a lot of you out there have not been able to distinguish between "pking" and "excessive, game stopping, pking"?


    He was camping the border where you leave safezone that little opening and killing anyone that tried to get by, till ofc, someone finally came and killed him b:thanks

    You can be banned if you PK in SP. It doesn't matter what level people you kill, how many times you kill them, etc. If you kill ANYONE AT ALL then you can be banned.


    I got banned for killing a person once on a PvE server where he could have simply stayed blue named.

    Of course, if you are a high level in a low level area this is more of a problem, as you have intentionally chosen a place where the average player population is too low to even stand a chance against you.

    Keep in mind that no case is identical, and in all situations the GM who is responding to the ticket has the final decision on whether you are in violation of game rules



    tl;dr version: Don't camp a location if people need to go there. Don't camp players who are too low level to fight back.

    Seeing as he was killing everyone as you say, then I imagine that yes, he very well could and probably should feel the banhammer.

    I think they should just leave well enough alone and stop babysitting players. I had to endure the gauntlet in the secret passage both on LC and on Harshlands. It wasn't that bad. If you're serious about it being no-PK, just make it a safe zone and done with it.

    Yes I do remember when there was lots of it, but wasnt as bad... since there were many pkers the thing that killed you most was aoe's as they were focusing on each other not just who was trying to get through

    being pked by others in sp is sometimes rly is ennoying =/ like i tried helping once of my faction mates with bh and i was on pk ,i tried holy path dmg reducing pots and others but got ganged up by a cleric and an archer they just made me stop moving and killed me over and over rly got tired so i called me friends went to kill them so i could get in bh finally ^^" thats what they get for ganging up on meh xD

    Like I said earlier, it's not just camping, it's all PKing.


    If you go into SP once, kill a guy, and then leave and never bother him again, you can get banned.

    you do say it but still a lot of plp still go in sp and pk the whole time like once i tried passing by ps for bh and i was happy not being on pk it was a huge aoe mess .sometimes there are so many pkers there that its very laggy when i enter

    Taking into consideration that the quote also mentions the ToS, which is an official statement of PWE, in which it states: "Take any action that disrupts the Service or that negatively affects or may prohibit other users from enjoying the Website, the Games or any other aspect of the Service."

    So, yes, that post is still valid. While he may not be a part of the company any more, the ToS still is, and the post was used to simplify what was already a known part of it.

    As this person was preventing anyone from completing necessary quests in SP, it falls under that category, especially seeing as there are still BH's which higher levels help with.
