Which is better for optimizing HA/AA stats?

Which cape is better, Mantle of the ghost lord, or one of the event capes? I know that it doesnt have as many +stats, but it's got added stats like +phys resist (not that we need it) or +HP or -chan.

every single stat counts, though the bonuses from the event capes are nice, the extra 6 to 9 stats you get from the mantle are invaluable for HA, I would pretty much kill for a voidlands or love: up/down at this point.
from an optimizing stats point of view, you can't do any better than the mantle.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Personally, just for me im going to get the ghost lords mantle since I can upgrade it to nirvana later and the event stuff is not guarenteed to have +7 stats each so i can end up with 6-9 less usuable stats for my HA build. If you dont go with ghost lord's mantle, I like the lunar 6% channeling or the interval cape since the rest is kinda meh for add ons.
+150 Hp you can plus ur gear for less then spending the 25-35 mill for a cape.
+432 pdef you got enough already as HA.
+100 magic def like I'd rather plus up my rings or ornaments depending on your HA build.
3% physical damage reduction, you already got enough pdef as HA.
Yep, I know im low lvl veno but hope this helps.0 -

you forgot that cape with multiple stats like str vit mag and -6 chan, that is much better
its 3% damage reducion, physical or magic not only phys. even for heavy, 3% is still good0 -
For robe/heavy combo I'd suggest channeling cape or pdef. You balance pdef and mdef so you need both equally, but rings can refine for mdef so a good cape is pdef. Best ofcourse is channeling... -channeling is amaaazing on venos."Amour is better suited to rainbow text, because he is a classy lady." - Nakhimov

I'd agree with the -6% channel or -0.05 interval lunarglade cape. Mine came out with +7 str, +7 dex, +6 mag (and +7 vit), so not much loss over the mantle of the ghost lord. And the channel or interval stat is something you cannot get with other capes. However, the lunarglade wing trophy needed to make one of these costs about twice as much as a regular wing trophy (60 mil vs. 30 mil), which in themselves are nearly twice as much as the TT mats needed for the mantle (about 15 mil).
If you just run around with a mix of heavy and arcane, then I can see some merit to having +pdef on the cape. But frankly I think that's a waste. If you can wear two heavy pieces, you can wear four heavy pieces and have the capability to swap gear as needed.0 -
yea, i was eyeing the -6% chan cape, but seeing as its gonna cost me as much as a nix, >.> ill just go for the mantle i guess. Id like to have forest's wisdom and dancing sparkle one day, and i think those run about 25-30m right?>.<0

I suggest you shop around; I got my -channel cape for just 30m on sanc.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Ah, glanced over it, my mistake. I still dont like it since the 2% for physical on my wiz when she was wearing her TT90 wrists didnt make much of a dif to me so meh its 3%.
Edit - No, i didn't forget about the multiple stats since i already said 6-9 usable stats. Even if its all 7 stats I'd lose out on 6 stat points compared to the mantle. 9x3 = 27, 7x3=21, 6x3=18. Vit is a bonus but it isnt a usable stat like the opening post will need for their build.0 -

I got the pdef cape at the time i was a light armor build. Once i turned into HA i couldn't just exchange it anymore...
However, now that i got my new armor ready for use (tt99) i don't regret it because it's a mix of of HA and AA where i can only swap around tt99 wrists (would be very expensive otherwise, and will only swap if mdef really matters). The boots are perm Arcane, and the chest and legs are perm heavy. But when i switch to arcane wrists, my mdef goes up very nicely (6k) while my pdef remains very decent (5.4k). 432+ pdef is a lot, even for a HA/AA veno.
If i had the money back then i would have go for the channeling one.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
