No More Dailies

It's out of control. Crazy stone at lvl 30. Bounty hunter at lvl 40 (and with the possibility of 3 PER DAY). World quest at lvl 70. Marriage quest. And I haven't even gotten to old heaven's tear yet. STOP IT, STOP IT, STOP IT.
I used to wonder why I would have these scary dreams every month. About the wolf, who kept running through town. And as I wondered, I also thought about how I couldn't remember having those dreams before being bitten by this very big dog...
But now I know the truth.
And I am not afraid.

OHT doesnt really give any significant exp. And yeh . . i dont really get it, why wouldnt u want to lvl? If u dont want to lvl. . or u dont like the dailies, dont do them simple isnt it?0
-
i agree! stop this madness! i dont even have the time to finish half of them... how could i do hh or lunar or rebirth orders too? i should spend all time i have on pw >.<If you happy wanna be, against the wind you won't have to pee.

I hate to say it, but I have to agree with the OP. Making the game so easy makes the game less enjoyable. I have all but stopped playing myself because it has gotten so easy to do everything. Hell I can **** and gain a level now days.
Just stop. Easy means BORING.

and absolutely REMOVE those hyper exp stones... ppl took YEARS to get lvl 100, now ppl can get 100 in 3 weeks, thats terrible!
once upon a time PW was intended for casual players, now is intended for CASH SHOPPERS JUST LIKE ALL OTHER FREE TO PLAY MMORPGS... dont u have enough money?? stop it! u're ruining a game...If you happy wanna be, against the wind you won't have to pee.

it may be easy to lvl now but i believe they are pushing us to higher lvls so there is enough people to have a reason to increase the lvl cap im fine with the dailies but oracles & those stupid hyper stone things got to goCollector of pet eggs, armor, weapons, fashion, and mountsb:chuckle0

I have to agree with the above poster as it seems the're trying to push to a certain lvl to unlock new content.
But is merely a wild guess from my part b:puzzled0 -
the problem is that if they're gonna higher up the cap, then PW would become no more "free to play"
in the future:
hyper exp stones = monthly game payment
no cash shop = demo version
it could be a good idea to higher the cap of 100 (105), but they need to lower the experience needed to level up for EVERYBODY, hyper exp stones are just like "vip prenotation for glory".If you happy wanna be, against the wind you won't have to pee.

Ok, PWI hasn't even been out for 2 years yet, more like 1.5. And we already had lots and lots of 100+ players before. So I don't quite see where you're getting your "years" from.
Also, even before Hyper Exp, there was Oracles. If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.
Everyone wants to be different, but when you're different you wish you were normal.0 -
i mean before even oracles.. oracles are **** too
and ok maybe "years" was too much but u surely understand what i mean... dont annoy on these things lolIf you happy wanna be, against the wind you won't have to pee.

I agree with the OP. I do CS, MQ, and BH say once a week. The other daily repeatables, are cheapening the game (with the exception of Rebirth, I'll explain below) and I'm also irritated at the growing number of people who haven't a clue how to play their class, and are simply obsessed with levelling; thinking that being a higher level is mandatory and they'll somehow become a hero by being 90~100+.
Simple fact is, you're only gonna learn how to be a good player if you spend time gaining experience on using skills and learning how to squad properly. BH in my opinion, doesnt qualify as being a great squadding experience. Because it is monotonous and easy. At least Rebirth actually requires a little more tactical thought than that, and actually requires squad members to think about their role, and how to carry it out. Because more can go wrong.
You're not going to become a "role model" by having flashy TT90/TT99 armour and no ability.
*I know its a game, but I think its right to promote good gaming*
But, I do like Marriage quest. I like spending alone time with my hubby b:cute[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

If it takes you:
Bounty Hunter x 3
Crazy Stone
World Quest
Marriage Quest
Cube
x12 exp
oracles
to level once in a blue moon, you may be in the wrong line of game.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
The veteran players are high level and know how to play their class. But now we've got oracle grinders and crazy stone addicts who are trying to mingle with that crowd. I was in a squad with a lvl 95 archer a few weeks ago, and he died because he kept stealing aggro on a stygean run. It was the third time he stole aggro (and I'm only counting the boss fight), and I was spamming aggro skills trying to keep the heat. I know several archers in that level range that know perfectly well not to use constant skills or to stop attacking all together at times if they get aggro. At that point, a DD SHOULD know how to let the tank get aggro back.
I'm not against getting exp. But I AM against ways that allow people to get exp without learning how to use the class they play.I used to wonder why I would have these scary dreams every month. About the wolf, who kept running through town. And as I wondered, I also thought about how I couldn't remember having those dreams before being bitten by this very big dog...

hiperstones are just meant for these people who haven't got time to play 24/7...
so they can get the same amount of exp in a short time...
and pw gets $ b:byei am waiting for you my little flagcarriers b:kiss0 -
I can't play every day, and sometimes I can only spare no more than a few minutes. So I like being able to log in for 15 mins, do crazy stone and get a good chunk of xp before logging out. If I have an hour or more to play I can do my bounty hunts too and maybe get a level. I love it... at this rate I might be able to reach endgame sometime.
As for cash shoppers, well... I don't have much money but spending a few bucks a month that would have gone to cigarettes or a beer isn't a big deal imo.
Not sure what the problem is exactly. Is it that other people are advancing too fast? If it is, who cares? I mean, you can win in pvp but what difference does it make who is first in pve? If anything, having alot more people at endgame can only be better for everyone imo.0 -
Casual gamers have to accept that they aren't gonna get as good as fast as the obsessive players who are on sunup to sundown. It doesn't matter how fast you to get your exp bar to 100%, it still takes time to learn the skills you get, and the role you play in a functional squad. I've been playing for nine months now, and I'm only 20% into level 82. The fact is, dailies are good if you want to get some exp in if you've only got a few minutes to play. But there's world quest, which takes roughly an hour to two hours depending on which books you get and how much you teleport. Yes it's good for lvl 70-80, but once you get past that point you barely put a dent into your exp after two hours of mindless autopathing. Bounty hunter has three levels, and each gives you about as much exp as wq, when averaged out. Crazy stone also beats world quest. It's not my opinion that daily quests are bad, but the sheer number of them and the time involved for most of them is ridiculous.I used to wonder why I would have these scary dreams every month. About the wolf, who kept running through town. And as I wondered, I also thought about how I couldn't remember having those dreams before being bitten by this very big dog...

Your game. Play how you want it.
As long as you're not cheating or hacking it's cool with me.
I think dailies is a nice option if you want to lvl fast without pumping money into hype or oracles. At least Rebirth actually requires a little more tactical thought than that
Ironically, had somebody complaining that those that lvl with rebirth are noob & duno how to play since they gain exp fast & don't really gain "REAL" game experience...Simple fact is, you're only gonna learn how to be a good player if you spend time gaining experience on using skills and learning how to squad properly.
I'm sorry you need so much to learn so little... I don't... & not gona lower myself to others lvl or gimp my lvling curse cause you're slow...b:cute [SIGPIC]http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o160/ChisaiUsagi/wewewe.jpg[/SIGPIC] b:cute0 -
Baaaaad idea.
I do BHes for fun and for exp, and you more or less only need to do all three BHes, CS, and grind a bit to level up. Depending on how long you're willing to sit staring at the screen, that is. Only time I ever do quests is if I'm bored or I need the $$$$$$.b:victory0 -

That's just it. There's no challenge whatsoever. I'm not one of the oldies who got to 100 before the dailies and I'm not saying to do away with all of them. But there's too many. They're supposed to be an asset to leveling, not the sole means to do so.I used to wonder why I would have these scary dreams every month. About the wolf, who kept running through town. I always thought maybe it was to keep us happy, in a way. Leveling is a slow process, anyway, but I bet they figured we'd quit if we had to spend ages getting to our next level. We'd probably complain that leveling takes too much effort after we're out of our teens, so they stuck in an incentive to play it out.0

If you're playing a game just to get to the top, what's the point? Just doing dailies takes the fun out of it. Play the game for the sake of playing it, not to see a really big number by your name.I used to wonder why I would have these scary dreams every month. About the wolf, who kept running through town. That's the spirit! Go enjoy the game, and don't feel obligated to do dailies, try to be friends with people who do the same, and play, sitting on lvl 10x can be boring, with nothing but dailies to do, or so I have been told by a few friends.<"shameless self-bump " Alexenokin - Lost City>

It's still hard to enjoy parts of the game if I end up in a random squad with more people who have no clue how to play their lvl 8x and 9x characters.
I know it's gonna be impossible to remove one or two of the current dailies without tons of flack from players, but please, Devs, NO MORE NEW DAILIES!! b:cry

*pats Shredclaw's head*
There there, I know your pain, that's why my BH squad is pre-set, my friends only, and one or two new people, and I bann fools from there, even if that means going with no BH for 2~3 days, since I don't mind.
But if we were on the same server I would take you for a BH run with my people, so you would remember how good squads run, as the time we were on BH 39 range, that instance is tricky.
Not that every BH 39 squad is good, but at least at those levels people have not been tainted by HyperExp stones, or at least most of them.<"shameless self-bump " Alexenokin - Lost City>

Thank you OP, and the feedback to the OP.
I agree, support and approve of this thread.
People need to start working throughout the game. Not be able to gain endgame LVL just by doing a daily quest. This will allow people to actually learn to play. If people only worry about levels, but don't know how to get around (I.E. RB and cube) then I say deal with it, or just quit. The game was meant to be a challenge,.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Honestly, I see just the opposite. I'm seeing PWI allowing us to lvl ridiculously fast to the end-game lvls. Where end game gear costs 3-10+ mil each. And due to lvling so fast, we don't have the coin to back our character's equipment needs without *gasp* cash-shoping!
Where as oppose to before all these dailies. Most people lvl'd from grinding (some rebirthing) where you gained a large sum of coin while gaining your exp.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
tht is a very good asumptions makes alot of sense cus we all no how perfect world likes its moneyCollector of pet eggs, armor, weapons, fashion, and mountsb:chuckle0
