''Unknown file version!'' *Cant Install!!!, Help!*

so yeah. I used the direct download and all went fine untill i double clicked the install.exe file. Then i get a popup sayin ''Unknown file version (path)''

Using windows 7.

Anyone knows what i should do?

    Please keep in mind that you need to deactivate power save and sleep modes on your PC
    done
    do not install games to the default Programs(x86)
    check
    Install the latest version of DirectX
    done, even if i dont think it changes much here.
    If running 64-bit, try installing the game in the Program Files (x86) directory to run it in 32-bit mode. This may, or may NOT work.
    Tried, and it did not work :P
    Try running the game as Administrator and/or changing Compatibility Mode.
    did both, changed nothing.

    This is admin account, the only account on this PC.

    So yeah, im out of idea. Already read everything on that page. Tried redowloading. Tried renaming or changing folder. Tried changing compatibility thingy. IM FREAKING OUT no clue wtf to do.

    P.S. its not the launcher or the game im having problem with. I cant even get to the damn launcher.

    The error says:
    Unknown file version! C:\Perfect World International

    I have UAC turned off, I tried to run it in XP compatibility mode, I tried to run it with my antivirus turned off. It doesn't work anyway. b:surrender

    I am having the exact same issue. same error message, everything. I too have tried everything listed on that page. I am using windows 7 as well.

    I'm having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM, and I also tried burning an imagi with magicISO... guess what? b:surrender I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME!!!b:sad

    I know what the problem is

    you have to make sure 2 things:
    First, you must download all the files
    second, all the files must be in their full size

    Note:

    If you cancel download because you want to download a new one, then make sure that the download starts with the biginning not from the previous point that you stop at.

    When I try to install (windows xp)it the following message appears: unknown file version !!! i want to
    play !!

    Not to sure about this send a ticket but heres what I think happened.

    You got a corrupt copy.

    All you need to do is reinstall or maybe you may not have enough space in your hardrive.

    For the rising tide part thats the latest patch of course you got it via that.
