Shards?

So what's the best way to shard your Tamer armor? I've been thinking about using Garnet shards to 1. compensate for the lack of phys def and 2. because it's boosted by fox form.

What do you guys think?
PLEASE, for the love of all that is chocolate. If your advice involves me spending IRL money on this game, save us both the trouble and don't bother. And before you tell me to suck it up and get a job, I have plenty of money, for me it's the principle of the matter. I will be the best, and without spending a dime. Thank you for your time.

    Yes, personally i agree. Do look into the stickies for info on builds and remember sharding anything mid or high grade isn't really worth it at low to mid levels. I really would shard nothing but the ocassional quest reward before level 70.

    if you have LA, go citrine
    ha? citrine
    robe? id suggest either a mix of garnet and citrine, or pure garnet.

    never ever ever go pure citrine on a caster.

    Because citrine shards add ur hp that LA veno lack

    LA build get more pdef than AA build b:pleased

    Yeah, garnets or citrines. I go about half and half on my gear.

    Ah, okay. Not sure citrines will be so necessary though. I ffolishly ended up putting points into vit early on. ^_^U

    I've got about 40 vit. The citrines push me over the 3k hp mark, which is nice.
