Is it worth being Archer?

Hi guys, i have been playing PW for some time already as a Cleric but got bored with everyone around killing me, cant stand any class in Pvp, i though about archer, physical ranged attack, shield i was also thinking about assasin but i hate melee...with light armor? I saw Archers in Pk swooshing people away, also in TW so i have question as archer would i finally have some power? Is it worth to play elven stick shooter? :P

    i've tried all the classes and for me archers are the most interesting. it depends on your personal playing style. if you do your points right and get the right armor at the right times, you won't be QQing about low hp or def at 9x. archers are wanted in tw/fb/bh, so if you do your stats right its woth it to get to 9x. the downside is that they're not very good with close combat and hp/mp go down quickly depending on the situation.
