My friend loves playing perfect but the only place she has a good internet connection is at her school. She's wondering if it is possible to download and place the client on a flash drive so she can play when she is at school?b:question

I believe that works. I've tried copying the game fully, and playin' on a external hardrive... Worked well, so I'd assume that will work b:victory

A big enough flashdrive probably will. It works on iPod for me.

Same here. Staff are a bit anal about me playing games on their computers though. <_<

I would suggest your friend to discuss this with school authorities. Some schools do allow the use of computers for leisurely activities such as gaming with certain restrictions. Remember ToS does require an adult to oversee an account since this game does allow for RMT, and clandestine use of the client in such fashion would very certainly breach EULA.

As an alternative internet cafes and such can usually be found near schools, some allow installing software under supervision and may even offer discount rates for gamers. Regular internet access is necessary when involved on an MMO and misuse of school materials will hardly ensure conditions for regular gameplay.

Just make sure sure the sound is off, I don't think the school would appreciate hearing the screams from many monsters and pk victimsb:chuckle

And people wonder why I'm always saying how much I despise paying school taxes.

Why should I pay for someone else's kid to play PWI at school?

Then we wonder why everyone is so fail these days. Well there ya go.

Quite frankly, if the kid does all her work, gets good grades, etc, I don't see a problem in using school computers for her own thing. From my own experience in public schools, I wish that I could play PWI there-- it would cut out a lot of the free sitting around time I have after I finish tests and assignments 45 minutes early.

The fact that she has enough free time to play PWI is the only issue. She can do with her free time at school what she wants. Would be better if we weren't kept so long for nothing anyways. Blame the school officials for not making school challenging enough, not the kids for doing what they want to do in the meantime.

Yeah, it's me. Don't read to much into it, though; I'm only here for myself now, killin' time and chillin' when need-be. So sue me. Tch...
