Here's my guide(lvls 1-80):

dex: don't add
str: 1 every other level
mag: everything else here

whatever you can wear

how to play

    by level 80 you should be able to think for yourself without cookie-cutting your cleric to fit the forums.

    Best guide ever. But you should include that we pull catapults in TW b:chuckle.
    Not to mention that Purehearted is the best heal b:victory. Got to level 80 this way too b:laugh.

    Pureheart is one of my favorite heals. I use it when grinding. Heals those 1-2 hits that you take and at lvl3 its cheaper(MP) than ironheart or wellspring.

    I also now use it in my healing combo. (IH->pureheart-> repeat) it give me 25 chi which allow me to 2spark every 8 cycles(44seconds w/ -15% channeling). My regular recovery rate is 38Mp per sec, so base recovery is 1672 seconds. 2spark give me another 730MP, so 2402MP. Each cycle costs me 300Mp*8=2400. So in theory, I can regen my MP while healing. Of course this doesn't take into account purify, boss AOEs an such. but still with 7300MP for buffer, I often heal bh69 with no pots whatsoever. And I haven't caused any party wipes so far with this combo. Sometime I need to spam a few IH in HH but generally, the principle still works.

    and yes I've pulled catapults as a cleric too. Experience dictates though that I shouldn't in the future. That stuff should be left to charmed barbs who can turtle and pot.

    LA seems to be something that people either
    1) mess up badly
    2) can't play cause of low vit and mag defense.

    Really, arcane allows for more flexibility from lvl 1-80. you can add vit if you feel you need it. Also, from what I've been hearing from friends, LA only really shines at 88+ when crit builds up a little more and refining/sharding is more worthwhile. And with plumeshield absorbing 80% of the physical damage on top the already 30-50% phy resist arcane has, I don't see a huge need for LA. Add some preheal ironheart and kiting on top of that and you really shouldn't need LA at all.
