Something I did against a Nix Veno

Tackling Slash the Nix at max range coming out of stealth then stun the Veno and finished her off. It's a nice way of not getting stunned and/or hax bleed to death by Nix. b:chuckle

    it does sound like a valid strategy in duals and in world pvp and i do have a few questions:

    how many venos has it worked against?
    does it matter if they are AA/LA/HA?
    if they have bramble on how does that affect your strategy?
    if they have anti stun pots or genie skill again how does that affect your strategy?


    if we are talking TW this is all very well provided you see the nix coming (as with most strategies on nix) a good (as in determined to win in TW) veno will wait till you are occupied and send the nix from behind or the side where you may not be paying attention

    It worked against one so far since I just came up with it as I killed the Veno, but it would be something I'll be using in the future against nix.

    If they are HA, I wouldn't bother. This veno was 7X LA and I think she died before nix got free. AA just means that they die quicker. The nice thing about being a Sin is that you can walk up to them, check their gears and decide if you want to fight them or not.

    Since I'm doing this right as I come out of stealth, unless they are expecting it and have a finger right on anti stun pot, I don't see how that's an issue. If they break out of the Head Hunt stun with genie, well, there's always the tele stun.

    It's just something nice to use against a Veno in your everyday PvP and not mass PvP like TW. Some Venos have pet on defense so freeze the nix first is a nice trick.

    bramble only matters in tw for this.

    seems good for world pvp

    I've noticed from duels with Venos that if you're in stealth and they can't target you, when you open with a stun (Head Hunt, Shadow Teleport or Deep Sting), they actually can't control the pet until the stun is over = Key to beating annoying HA Veno?

    teleport stun, then lvl 10 tangling mire then a chi skill and headhunt ribstrike etc...use all ur best stuns and attacks right after tangling mire...if they dont die stealth gofind somebody else lol

    if it was a HA veno :P you could simply do it again afterwards, theres no limit to the number of times you can do this by using shadow walk and saving an escape just in case. and teleporting to the veno to save time =P
