I'm wondering if this "issue" with a mount is just from my graphic card.

Not sure what the mount is called, just know is it a giant lobster. Good thing I grabbed a screenshot.

It happens with any class/race for me. Whenever there is one of those mounts in viewing range, that line goes from my body.

Is it just me?

    Common issue so I've heard, though I've never had it myself.

    Must just be because of my graphic card or operating system then. Possibly even the computer itself.

    Wasn't it like a problem with the sound card because I know there are other threads I have read on this im just not to sure as to what the said the prob is but if my memory serves me right it has something to do with the sound card.

    A lot of people have had this problem before. And I doubt all these people happened to have the same problem in their gfx card/computer.

    Incompatibility issue with your graphics card and pw. Quite a few players have this problem. Unfortunately not much that can be done.

    Happens every now and then on both my computers - and my desktop has a compativle GFX card (my laptop's just plain sucks). I've learned to shrug it off.

    Shows up as blue too.

    Happens to me occasionally. I seem to see it more when I'm laggy in crowded areas, or when I'm teleporting (like from inside a instance to the overworld). I also remember seeing it a lot when I'd tab in from web surfing during WQ.

    for me personally, i have this problem only occasionally. that said, i havent had it in a LONG time

    from my understanding, what causes it is that there's a "hole" in the mount's "mesh" that on certain types of gfx cards causes random and unpredictable results

    i've heard of the line stretching from the mount to the player's character, like it does for me
    also heard it goes straight into the sky
    also heard it can change color (that one is new, never heard about that until this thread)

    also heard sometimes the entire mount fragments or certain parts turn invisible O_o
    I have officially "won the game"... Actually, I decided it was time to leave.
    Joined sometime in March of 2009 - right after Dreamweaver opening.
    Retired on March 16, 2010... 1 year later...

    I've had moments where it would go in any random direction, even towards the screen. Oftentimes, it's the original color of the object. But I've also had it not just happen to mounts, but also to random parts of people, most commonly the tops of their heads, which by the way is freaky when you aren't expecting it.b:shocked
