Character name/gender change?

Are there any plans in the future to introduce a system to change a characters name and or gender? A paid system or some item you could add to the Shop would be great. I know a lot of my friends who made female characters and they would like to have males but don't want to start all the way over just for that. A system like World of ******** currently uses where you can pay to change your gender and/or name. Just wondering if this idea has ever been discussed. b:surrender

    Would be nice for those of us who wanted to play a specific class and had no gender choice. Male veno and female barbs ftw,

    They will never institute a Name change. With your name is your reputation. Almost no game allows name changes due to the fast that people can be total a-holes & then name change & escape their reputation to start fresh. Almost always, its people trying to escape their reputation that want the name change. Its a bad idea and has been stated by GMs it wont ever happen.

    well the reputation may go with the name, but what about those who have a bad reputation because they have a name close to one that has a really bad reputation. why should they have a bad reputation just because some one else wanted to be an a-hole.
    there are also people who just want to escape some pestering when they have an extremely good reputation and get so many squad invites just because of the name. I've gotten some random invites on one of my characters because its apparently close to some one who is really high level.

    To be fair to PWI, it has nothing to do with reputation. A person could easily make an alt if they wanted to escape their reputation.

    (I know this is old, got new information since it was necroed anyway)

    name change would keep the same ID, so it wouldn't matter to a GM what the name was
