Leaf Dance Genie Question - Please help!

So, I recently got the "Leaf Dance" ability for my genie.

I start with 1% crit
I have 30 dex = +1% crit
I have the Christmas tome + 1% crit

Thus, I have 3% crit

I use the genie skill which is suppose to raise your crit by 2%, and my crit % stays at the 3% in the character sheet.

What's up? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    I think you won't see the critic boost from genie in character sheet.

    Some skills, like Leaf Dance, dont show there effect in the Character Screen. You can see it at the little blue-white-symbol at your buffs. When you hover over it, it says "Critical Rate increased". In the character window it won't be shown (same goes for the critrate effect of Power Dash for the Sins).

    So, you're just suppose to take they're word that your crit is increased? There's no hard-number to look at an assure you?

    With a base crit like 3% you probably don't notice a 2% increase. Cause you don't crit often with 5% at all, anyway.

    When you have a base crit of 26%, there is a slight noticeable difference upon using Leaf Dance, but you crit enough anyway for it to not be the most obvious.

    However, "weak" as you call it, Leaf Dance works just fine. There are plenty of skills in this game that don't visibly show on the character screen but clearly work. Leaf Dance isn't any different.

    I'm not saying the ability is weak by any means.
    I just mean it's weak you can't see the increase in numbers. That's all. =)

    Have someone use an eye of observation on you while the crit buff is in effect.. they will see the crit.
