Have you tried using the Gold Trade system? You can acquire ZEN through auctions by other players with your in game coins. This is an easy solution where you would not have to pay real money for ZEN.

Well I am sorry you do feel this way. The Gold Trade system is there specifically for users that cannot purchase ZEN through normal means.

As for Cash Shop access, what do you mean by this? Our logs show that you have at least 10 purchases to this account. Is there a different issue at hand that you need assistance with?

at first i thought that the supply box was a little something to help us little people along and they were being generous...then i found out that you have to buy "hammers" latter on to open then a progress to the next stage at lv 50. i was like : -.- ooooof course,...WHY did i not see this comming? -.-

true (it really amazes me how people can pay 60 dollars for a mount) and some spend $20 PER fashion outfit (that is RANDOMLY colored!!!>.> there is no garentee you'll like it) and even spending money on dyes, when i was spending summer vacation in china (parents are divorced...apparently if you log on to perfect world international there you get bannedb:shocked i had no idea the game wan't really "international")
the prices on stuff (chinese version of perfect world) were pretty similar to the ones here...but here's the catch -.- divide their price by 7 and thats how much it is in US currency -.-

The supply box is there to help out players. You don't need to open the level 50 box but if you want to then saving 2 mil coins for a hammer at level 50 is easy as long as you didn't spend your coins on useless **** (like I usually do). 2 mil coins for a level 50 weapon sounds like a lot but opening the level 50 box not only gives you a weapon but also gives you access to the supply boxes after it: 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 (last one needs another hammer though but it's the last one and what's inside is worthless). Now, the items in the boxes after 50 combined are worth just about 2 mil coins.

Also, we all got around just fine before the supply stash came out.

Even though I'm pretty sure that they'd make more money if they lower prices in the boutique a bit, they're going in the other direction and milking the big spenders for as much as they can. Doesn't make much sense but I'm not a business major. Still, that's what it seems like to me.

It would also be the same if they charged LESS, more people would buy and they would be making pretty much the same amount if not more. (since we have a larger middle class and lower class than JUST targeting the high clss)

i ment "help out" as in freebies to help people that are a in a "bad shape" in terms of coins (you know like a charity or a giveaway). you said it yourself all the stuff is WORTH 2 mil, so in otherwords we're still buying it. all they did was put it into a box.

yes but it is helpful. (charms, pots, weps, ect.) like how my friend and i have bad internet connections (cheap internet >.>) and even when we get hp charms the game doesn't let us log in for a long time or kicks us out due to connection, etc.= we die and lost all of our charm. -.- so haveing extras definatly helps. (though my friend got soooo mad when the game froze on her and she lost a brand new charm)

2) I was referring to the price of gold in the gold trade (yes, many items in the boutique are, in my opinion, overpriced but that's not what I'm talking about). As you said, pixels aren't worth much. Do you deny that the number of pixels it takes to make 360k in game coins is not even close to being worth the $1 in real money it takes to make 1 gold in game?

3) The supply stash still is useful. Yeah, you need a perfect hammer to open it at level 50 (and 80 but only an idiot would open that one) but it still gives you dead useful items from levels 5 to 45.

4) And that's actually what I was trying to say. The supply stash isn't perfect but that doesn't make it any less useful. When it first came out hammers were 500-750k so it was a hell of a deal at the time. Problem was that gold prices shot up soon after due to various reasons (no, not anni packs, those came much later) and it stopped being 'wow, the supply stash is awesome (perhaps not in those exact words)' and became '**** YOU PW! THE SUPPLY STASH IS A RIPOFF! (there was even a thread that said almost that exact thing)'.

your on dreamweaver, im on heavens tear, last time i checked it was around that range. 400,000 is about as low as it gets, the usual is in the mid-high 500,000, sometimes reaches at most low 600,000. but now all the prices are rising so its probably higher now.

I have a barb and cleric on Heavens Tear. I also have a BM on Sanctuary, a sin and psychic on Harshlands, a wizard on Lost City, and finally a veno and archer on Dreamweaver. Yeah, I get around.b:avoid

XD yay we agre on something!! no your right they would make more, im at a school that has people going into business and sciences (1# math and science school)

It's really not as hard for non cash shoppers to compete as everyone makes it out to be. I'm far from rich in real life so I can't charge zen much and I only do a moderate amount of buying and selling but I still get enough coins to keep all my toons decently geared. If I wanted to I could even get charms for most of them and refine some of my gear if I felt like it...but I'm a fashion addict.b:surrender

If I can get by without really giving much effort to making coins then I'm sure that someone who cared more than I do can do better. And for the record, I'm also talking about my toons who aren't on the same server as my veno so they can't get any funding from her (she's actually the poorest because of her addiction to clothing). Obviously it'll be harder for some people due to different reasons but it's not impossible.

no its not that hard to compete (until higher lvs since they will make money faster due to gold trade) its just that its easier to play the game. people who don't have the charms, the money, etc. will be slower at lving and keeping up.

anyway to make money without shoping around? because if i ever find something affordable im not able to sell it for a higher price. so i just stay away from all that and stick to budgeting and hoping for a good drop -.-
