    ill reinstall now. ive tried everything else. =/.. stil ldoesnt make sense why reinstalling would affect it when it was working fine last night but not now =/

    ya like i sais earlier, unless you're all connecting to the same server (same ISP, w/e) that CONNNECTS you to the game, none of this makes sense. b:questionb:surrender

    Now that b/s I play a korean game and they once did some nre ip rule to the server which cused MANY ISP's around the world to get banned form the server and after each banned user poseted his ISP + Country they fixed it up.

    So how about this:
    PWI pnap firewall servers made new IP rule that makes some ISP's around the world that use same IP rules to connect to the server to get a LIMITED downlaod rate?

    I tested this lag with other freinds only my ISP lags and it's only on download rate NOT UPLOAD cus I can still heal/attack but I can't see it cus myclient is noy getting info from the server... and after some time it get it all in a rush so I see a list of dmg or a big blue ray of light (if I heal) and I see mobs die around me in an insane rate...

    And yes I did reinstall the cleint and still lag I even called my ISP sent them traces they checked it tested on the local server and they say they can't find any problem or a eason why I should even have the slightes lags...

    Ping 200~300 for MMO is fine cus I use to play in a korean game that had 500~700 ping and still it worked falwlessly so drop me here 2 more cents will ya cus i'm poor on ideas b:laugh

    I've having the same startup problems as well and it started last week with the 263 patch but stopped when the 270 something patch came out until today.

    The problem is NOT ON MY END!

    It has something to do with PWI servers and in my case the Raging Tide server. I have no clue whats going on but as I have reintalled and tested on multiple lines and computers with different firewalls I can safely conclude that I don't have a problem.

    Also considering the problem stopped temporarily with the last patch update it means PWI servers just plain suck. Consider as well that many people are having the same problem in many different places.

    I'm not paying to play so I can't complain too much but I do feel sorry for those that are giving money away for this game.

    Just give PWI another 3 days to correct it I'm sure they will get around to it eventually.

    GMs don't work on weekends, so if you do get assistance on this thread, it won't be until Monday.

    Laroca's idea is a good one. I had forgotten about those instances. Yes I've heard of entire IP Ranges being banned to get rid of real money traders (RMT) (the crapbastard people that sell game gold for various games online for real money), and on the side random people with IP's around the world that were even CLOSE to those got banned as well. But there's no real point doing a IP wide slow-down.... lol

    And i've talked to my faction we DO have two people that are having major freezing/lag issues now. And neither live in the US. Ones in the UK i think. Do any of you live in the US? Might be the first thing i mentioned. If you're all in Europe or somewhere, something might be wrong with the server that CONNECTS you all to PWI's servers.

    We have frequently used replies because 98.9% of our players are helped and we check to see that have logged in and are playing the game.

    When we send you our replies, it helps to reply back and tell us what you tried, and what errors you got so that we can help you. If you don't reply back to help us help you, it makes it difficult for us to assist you. If you think TLDR, well, that info is there to help you, not push you away.

    FYI - Tech Support has now joined the weekend crews as we grow as a company, so Tech Support is here 7 days a week, 10am-7pm California Time. We still want to say a reply could take 3-5 business days or so, but I would like to think this will be reduced to 2 days or less (our goal depending on how busy things are).

    You would not believe how many tickets we get like the following, as one sentence:

    "OMG, the game won't work!"
    "I click on the download link and the game won't start."
    "I click and nothing happens."
    "I tried to install on my Mac, your game is broken."
    "URZ GAMZ BROK N STUFF HELP ME."
    "HELP ME."
    "Why won't this work?."

    As you can see, tickets like those wastes your time and ours because we have to ask a bunch of questions back to try and get better information, or any information. This can take 2-3 more replies then it should be.

    Feel free to send in your tickets with your dxdiag and hijackthis logs attached, and describe your issue fully with screenshots if needed.

    Ive already spent hours sending you this that and the other, why do you need it again, youve said the same thing " We'll take a look at your system and see what is going on hopefully, ok? " 2 or 3 times to me now. So you have all you need from my computer. In forums and ive also sent a ticket. Im in the UK for the third time, and its still being delayed 10seconds-2minutes. I hope your adding extra 2x days for the people who havent been able to play for the past week.

    A quick question. Are you sharing your Internet connection with other people and/or are you running any other programs that download/upload a lot of data while you're playing?

    I ask because all of the times I've had lag it's been one of those two problems. I have roommates and I let them share my Internet connection, and one of them started doing massive downloads which created HUGE lag time for me. Once I kicked him off, problem solved.

    Also, I use Bittorrent while playing, and when it's going full speed I also get bad lag when I forget to lower the max download & upload speeds.

    To test to see if this is your problem I'd recommend using Sam Spade v1.14 (ancient software, but that means that it works on any 32+ bit version of Windows, Google it) and doing a traceroute to your server (server names and IP addresses can be found in the "Server" wiki entry). If the ping times are high (>300 ms) starting with the first or second hop (depending on if you do not or do have a router, respectively) then the problem is probably what I said above. If the ping times shoot up further along the way it might be a routing issue. If the ping times are fine the whole way there, then it's something else. Also, compare the ping times between when it's working well and when it's not, to see if ping time really is the problem.

    EDIT: Oh yeah, there was a third reason I occasionally saw lag: background processes. I had one program that used to run periodically, and every time it ran the game would lag a bit until that program had finished doing what it was doing. I now disable it while playing. Some software simply doesn't play well with others, especially anti-virus checkers and whatnot. You might check to see if certain background processes are running when you have problems, and then are not running when things are fine. You might also test disabling some programs when you're lagging to see if that fixes things.

    I have same problem as the OP.

    Yeah, I play at a friends house, but until just over a week ago, this lag didn't exist.

    So that's not the problem.

    I think I fixed the problem by following this, which I got from some other site..

    Type "regedit" in windows "run.." dialogue to bring up registry editor.

    Then find:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSMQ\Parameters

    Right-click in the right hand pane and add a new DWORD value, name it TCPNoDelay, then right click the entry and click Modify and assign a value of 1.

    Click Ok and close the registry editor, then reboot your PC.

    I was able to run through a BH without the lag kicking in, so far so good..

    Pretty sure it can slow your download speed when you DL bigger files though, so just delete what you added if you have to do that and re-add whenever you have to, yeah?

    Its definetly not the wireless, and yes i share it with 3 other lap tops in the house, however none of them are using the net right now.. and im still lagging =/

    Norton is on silent mode so background tasks are off... still lagging =/

    And Turismo has your lag gone now?

    And i MSMQ isnt on my list after microsoft..

    Yeah the delayed action lag has gone, but now the whole game just doesn't run smoothly. >_>
    But delayed action lag is gone, so I CAN attack enemies.

    If you google the whole HKEY thing, you can find a download which will put it in the registry for you, so you can do it.

    Ive done the whole HKEY jargen thing .. but the delay lag has come back the last couple days x___X ..

    Hi, not sure if its my pc or the client .. but my internet is working fine, search engines and streaming sites are all fine, when i log into perfect world, it will take about 1-12 seconds to log in, it then changes to the " Logging into the game, please wait " box.. which takes another 2-5 seconds to take me to character selection b:surrender, after selecting a character, i log into the game without any elapsed time, but once in the game, id press anything and it would take about 5 seconds to actually perform the action, ive died twice on my psy as a result of this. Its been slightly slow these last couple days, but today its delayed alot longer to perform simple actions ( dismounting, mounting, casting one spell ). Ok, so im in archosaur right? Catshops in minimap range are all visible.. along with people moving around, say i walk out of minimap range, none of the other catshops are visible, on the screen or minimap . An explanation would be nice o_o.. why does it have to muck up on 2x.. why!?!? b:cry

    i seem to be having a problem similar to this, its only started happening a couple weeks ago. Ever since i downloaded limewire or the new patch, my game actions have been slowed considerably. when i first log on, everything is fine for the first 5 minutes or so, after that, its all slowy

    Please note that messing with your registry settings can critically make your PC fail. Please make sure you know what you are doing.

    What specifically have you tried in our FAQ regarding networking and connection info?

    My delayed lag is gone, but now the whole game is just running really slowly.

    Gonna buy an extra RAM stick tomorrow and see if it changes anything.

    mine just came back 2 days ago even with all that registry -- the whole of half term i was playing just fine =/ and now its mucked up again X.X i did download alot of videos recently though if that would affect it?
