bluescreen then crash

ok so since i have updated to the new patch i cant stay in game for more than 5 mins (if at all) i get a blue screen error flashing the my whole system restarts. i have reinstalled the game patches drivers direct x and even windows! and still nothing, it worked just fine before patch 281.i have tryed turning down all settings too and nothing... here is my dxdiag ...

    also i want to be clear that PW worked just fine before the newest patch. idk if its a driver conflict or what but i really REALLY hope someone can get back to me on this!

    i seen something about the audio so i just disabled the sound card and it stayed on for more than 5 mins... BUT! as soon as i go into battle it crashes agin this time giving me the option to report a bug. but when i fill out the form and hit send it says cannot connect to server then it says sent successfully... what is goin on here?

    i have uninstalled and updated everything when i reinstalled windows... i did a full format and got all new drivers for all my hardware... after i disabled the sound and re-enabled it i no longer get a bluescreen error instead it crashes to windows but kills me!

    ok installed both lang packs and it HELPED i say that because i can now log in and play for about half hour maybe a bit longer but then it still crashes in the same way... all the lang packs did for me was delay it...

    Your sound drivers go back to 2006. Have you found newer ones?

    Update XP to Service Pack 3 if you want, and the latest version of DirectX 9.0c.

    yes i did find a newer one but its from 2007... the only newer ones they offer are for windows 7... are we sure this is a sound problem? and why is there no in game function to disable the sound?

    2007 was the end cycle for xp (or so, vista was a disaster so XP was extended till 7), try those

    No one is ever sure, we just try to narrow things down by process of elimination. b:victory

    If updating things doesn't help, then you may need to seek the help of a PC Tech so they can look at the blue screen errors, and run full diagnostics on your machine to hopefully see what's going on.

    well the 07 drivers dont make any dif its still crashin... but now its not allways the blue screen most of the time now its crashing to windows and telling me to fill out a bug report but when i try to submit it.... says cannot connect to server... anyways im about fed up with searching for drivers i just wanna play the game... can anyone suggest a CHEAP sound card that WILL work with the current patch?

    update... after talking to a friend of mine i found out he has the exact same sound card and driver that i do and he is having no problems at all playing pw...
    also his vid card is the same series as mine so it runs the same drivers...
    anyone have any other thoughts?

    I'm using an onboard realtech, you might wanna look for something newer with XP drivers. but whatever is onboard SHOULD work

    no onboard audio the ic is fried
    but more of my point is how come my friend is able to use this sound card just fine with the same drivers but i still cant?... agin im begining to wonder if this has anything to do with the sound at all....
