So i started an archer, lvl 20, it seems like when i get to the end of my quests right before im about to do the FB, the last few quests are impossible to do alone. this is normal?? is there any way that i can get past this? can an archer buy a pet to tank for me??? im still fairly new and would like any help if possible, sry its so late.

    If you don't like playing an archer at that level, reroll.

    The next few levels don't get any easier.

    Although oddly, I managed to do them on my own. And if I wanted them done a bit faster I'd try find somebody doing the same quest.

    Taking the initiative these days seems like such a task for people...

    It is normal.

    You can do solo above quests,but you must level up to 30+ level.

    Or you can gather squad of characters with same level to do it.

    100% success will be if someone with high level will be in your squad.

    This is MMORPG game.

    When I had trouble doing some quests, either I would make friends and we would help each other, or I would skip the quest for a few levels and get back to it later.

    Also, just curious, what is thought by most to be the best magical character to play in PW??

    If you're having fun, then take the initiative when you find something hard and make some friends or find people doing the same quest. Archers aren't the easiest class to play from the 20s to 40s because you still don't hit hard enough to potentially kill things before they reach you and you're squishy enough to die if you can't move back or knock the monster back.

    The only class that gets pets which do anything useful are venomancers, so you personally won't be getting a pet as an archer to help you.

    FB19 you'll also need a squad for - all the mobs in the dungeon are elite and at level 20 you most certainly won't be soloing the boss waiting for you at the end. (Not that you'd make it to Occultist anyway)

    The trick is to know when you can solo and know when you're going to need a squad. If you can't find a squad, you might have to put that quest off and come back to it a little later, perhaps when it's more manageable.

    Generally if you find the archer becoming tedious to play and the quests too hard now I would suggest you start a new character because honestly, it's not going to get any easier for a while.

    Personally, the two best arcane classes are:
    - wizard : DD arcane class that can dish out powerful spells
    - cleric : generally support arcane class that will always manage to find themselves a squad eventually

    From what I've heard, a Psychic is basically a squishier wizard that comes with a relatively good AoE heal. I've not played them myself though so don't quote me on that.

    Both classes are squishy, however, so you might find them as challenging as you find your archer for certain quests.

    I'd say cleric, because its easy to find a squad when you're one for BH, TT, etc.
    And in TT, you get 2nd pick of drops.

    Archer is easy and will get even easier later! Learn apothecary and make some life powders (heals 50 hp / sec for 10 minutes), it helps a lot at lower lvls ^^ Also, activate Winged shell whenever you can. Get help for bosses (most classes need help for those anyways). Don't give it up just yet, Archers are unstoppable at higher lvls and they are fun to play! Good luck! :3

    Wow... Archer, for me, was the easiest class I've ever had to level, with the excpetion that my Veno had an easier time soloing the little mini-bosses you needed to do. BM was much more painful. Ranged attacks ftw.
