What should you do with your barb if there is nothing else to do?

Ok, I am one of these people with a capped barb (not highest level, level 55).
Why?

On alts and people are too unfamiliar with rebirth alpha, don't know how to play, but then again PVE isn't meant to be easy. But dang, I will have to wait till my friends are ready to do RB on their alts. So then, I'm helping out my daughter with getting all her skills for her veno by then.


All my skills are fully updated, even the "useless" skills. Tanking for people, and being wanted in PT and I'm expected to tank even when there is a high level barb with more HP than me b:surrender. I don't think I'd try tanking Crimson again without invoke the spirit lol. But overall, my own LVL quests are being on hold for now. I stopped doing BH altogether, I think I should. Spam duels.


Well, I am done with wizard, cleric and alt bm for a while, so working on archer now, and I think I'd need a cleric with my archer lol. After that he would be done... Dunno what to do...

What would you do if your barb is isolated?

Tank for others? Gain more money? Harvest tons of stuff? PVP people? Goofing? ETC?

    Cube is fun btw that could be one too o.o... well got PKed by a high LVL BM (I think its 70 or 90 can't recall, because he didn't let me grab quest) in cube... took him ages to kill me XD

    Level 55 and you seriously cant think of anything to do? Try getting past 5x so you can actually be close to being useful.

    I'm a lv 53 Barb and I've still got lots of quests to do for him. Aside from that, I usually do several of those choices:

    Sometimes I'm tired of tanking and go to a DD like my Sin or BM. When I dont want to play an alt but dont feel like questing, I gather herbs for apothercary meds (helpful for both my barb and my other alts b:pleased) or wander off to dangerous areas (with the mobs there being 20+ levels over me b:shocked) just to see what's out there.

    From experience, barbs become far more fun after your 50s. However, from the sounds of it, you seem like the type who gets easily bored with ****, so there may be no pleasing you. *shrugs*

    If you're stalling that character for RB, just play another one until the people you want to RB with are caught up.

    Otherwise, level up. Just because you have all the skills for your level doesn't mean you're "capped" by any means. There are some skills you don't even have level 1 of yet because you're not high enough level.

    Do quests and dailies, if all of them are gone then make another char and level him up at the same time...

    That or save/run TTs for your TT 60 weapon.

    Hmm.. I've been sitting on 74 for a while since when the holidays came around most of my faction (what little there is, being a small group already) went away on vacation or played in another game's Xmas event etc.. That left me with no group I meshed with, ran a few TT runs with some pick up groups (which turned out bad since the DD's were all god complexed and trigger happy etc..). Long and short of it is that I found no shortage of things to do till i hit the 70s and was all alone without a single faction mate online. Started doing some public quests and hit 74. Now I have TT quests again and can't get a group together for it. Mind you I'm not a cash shopper so I don't spam WC for a pickup group (I have trust issues after some past experiences anyhow). Moving on, my barb is sitting around waiting on my faction to come back to PWI and catch up in levels. Either that, or for the people who keep pestering me to join their faction to act like they want me in their faction and start helping out (seriously.. not gonna give up my leadership to join another faction so you can use me in TW if you wont even take time out to help on some TT, FB, and Last Hope quests).

    Rambling aside, I took a break from PWI for a couple months while playing some other games, got bored there from lack of interactivity with other player, came back to PWI. Faction members still not here. But I'm playing on my archer alt that I started around the same time I did my barb and hadn't touched since. So I guess you could say I'd recommend to play another toon until youre ready to back to your barb. BUT... I wouldn't (personally) keep my barb at 55 just so I could to RB one last time. Theres plenty of other stuff to do in the game really, but where I'm at - its a grindfest. My attention can only be held just so long with public quests. I'm pretty much hanging him up till someone calls me to tank something.

    Do what I did...Roll a DD class. I've gotten my archer to 70 in less than 1/2 the time it took to get my barb there...relatively little grinding in the process because of BH's and TB quests.

    It's nice knowing that my archer is totally replaceable in a party situation, that I won't be relied upon to tank (though somehow in non-barb parties I end up being the squishy tank wtf?)

    Not that I think that 91 is the end of the line for my barb, but it's a great place to stop for a short while.

    Yeah, I could roll another class for now, maybe this one, I do have sawtooth blades I made with stun on it. FTW

    Yeah, I know I am missing some skills... And the funny thing is I spammed stomp and it worked for me the whole game so far b:shocked

    I'm a lazy leveler, but a barb is FAR more fun when you start dealing with higher levels, and becoming a true tank. It's the same with any class, really. Although, I think I more so enjoy people's reactions for me being a female barb. b:laugh

    I been had fun with barb, but being isolated is epically lamo. Gonna grind a lot of mobs and also start farming spirit :) b:chuckle since most votes go with money, I figured that too lol. Always fun being a barb.
