Cleric Macro Setups

I only have two macros: one for normal buffs and the other for the 1-hour aoe buffs.

I used to have a combat macro, but on early versions of the game, if one attack gets interrupted, the whole macro gets cancelled, so I learned not use them on combat.

This can be recommended for healings also, specialy when healing the tank. Using a macro may not be a good idea since you need to be aware in case someone's messes up and gets killed, stole aggro from the boss and a party wipe is on the run, or any other unwanted situation.

(#1 and #2 general use....the rest have been set up for certain bosses in HH and Nirvana)

1) IH, Well, IH, Well, IH, Well....

2) AOE Buffs

3) IH, Well, IH, Stream, IH, Well....

4) IH, Well, IH, Chromatic Heal, IH, Well, Chromatic Heal...

5) Wield, Plume shot, Cyclone, Wield, Plume Shot, Cyclone

6) IH, Sage Vangaurd, Well, IH, Well, IH, Sage Vanagaurd....

7) Single Buffs

* All are looped

I change some of them depending on what I am doing b:pleased

Edit --> There might not be many that are MP friendly....you will always use MP. But tbh I only really use Macro's IF I need too.

I would cyclone before you plume shot in the wield combo btw for the slow effect.

GV macro:
repeat, IR, hell thunder, cyclone, plume shot

Heal macro
repeat, IR, wellspring

Buff macro
*insert*

DD macro
*insert your favorite skills* (for me is meditate and afk)

Well, I set up some of these Macro:

1. Single Buffs
2. AoE Buffs
(self explainatory ^.^)

3. Ironheart, Wellspring, Ironheart, Wellspring...
(Macro Heals, if tank doesn't need to be purified I can use this and just watching, go AFK or doing etc. xD)

4. Plume Shell, Ironheart, Sleep, Elemental Seal, Spark, Cyclone, Wield Thunder, Ironheart...
5. Purify, Ironheart, Sleep, Dimensional Seal, Spark, Plume Shoot, Razor Feather, Ironheart...
(Quick PvP/ PvE setup against #4 melee and #5 arcane... the choice to use Cyclone/ Plume Shoot before using nuke Thunder/ Razor is sometime to bypass HP charm for PvP)

6. Cyclone, Plume Shoot, Cyclone, Plume Shoot...
7. Wield Thunder, Cyclone, Ironheart, Cyclone, Wield Thunder/ Plume Shoot, Cyclone, Purify/ Wellspring
(Grinding Macros... #7 combinations are varies based on the current mobs)

I use macro a lot, especially when I have to kill 80+ mobs/ solo grind. And I have no problem with MP usage, as long as it's more effective. Btw, I was very angry when all macro get reset after the previous update patch, because it tooks some times to remember and set them up again -_-

How does one set up a macro to repeat?

Too bad you couldn't have a healing macro for party members no ? I guess the best you can do is hotkey 1,2,3,4, according to how many members our in the party and then hit heal icon accordingly.

The macros in this game seem really limited. As a Cleric I want to be able to heal party members fast. One push of a button should be all that is needed.

I got several attacking macros, since my cleric is hybrid, and gears are quite good (for the level, and LOTS of - chan), there generally built around that. And some of these aren't actual macros, however these are combinations i use.

Buffs/Debuffs:
1) AOE buffs
2) Single buffs
3) Elemental Seal > Dimensional Seal

Heals:
1) Repeat > IH (Doesn't work all that good
2) Repeat > IH > Wellspring Surge

PVE:
1) Wield thunder > Cyclone > Plume Cyclone > Plume > Cyclone > Plume
2) Cyclone > Wield > Cyclone > Plume > Cyclone > Plume > Cyclone > Plume
3) Elemental Seal > Purify > x2 Spark > Wield > Cyclone > Plume > Cyclone > Plume

PVP:
1) Wield thunder > Cyclone > Plume Cyclone > Plume > Cyclone > Plume
2) Chromatic > Elemental Seal > Purify > x2 Spark > Wield > Cyclone > Plume > Cyclone
3) Chromatic > Elemental Seal > Purify > Tempest

Notes:
PVE #2 Works well against butterflies and undines. Butterflies (unless they have increased HP) can't hit me, and undines generally hit me between 0 - 2 times.

PVE #3 Is for DDing, achieving maximum damage output. However, if timed with dragons, a tempest can work out ALOT better.

PVP #2 is good for pking, providing you get chance to sleep them (and they stay that way), and you time it correctly. Theres also another version of it, replacting Wield with Cyclone, and the following cyclone with Wield, that combo is use for ticking the charm then quickly killing them.

Currently just got 89 on my cleric, with hell cyclone, if i figure out any new combination i like...I'll post it here b:bye

Only macro I use is buffs. I manually use all my other skills.

I honestly can't stand macros outside of buffs...I have one macro that I slapped together in a TT once, because it was 3-1 with just me, one other cleric, and a barb, and it was taking forever b:surrender I hate that I feel trapped in the macro if something happens that I need to be flexible for. Also the reason I hate BB, I can't adapt to the situation. Although you can stop a macro, I'd much rather just press the buttons and have the freedom in case something goes awry.

/dumb like you can get 2 sparks with that combo.

Unless you've already got the two sparks? Not sure if your misreading x2 spark as two double sparks or whatever (wonder if they stack?). By x2 i meant double spark, just in case.

However, if you already got full chi, you can do that combo.

Dunno, it's not a very good combo however. It's my lazy macro b:surrender Was working half decent on Adroit though, if that counts for anything? Works pretty good on LA/AA mages and some venos. But as previously stated, it's my lazy macro (as its mainly used in pve).

On a side note, I can't wait for 90. Bring on the gears. Oh and I'm hybrid for pve. Not full int before anyone thinks so.

what does looping macro mean? does it make the macro repeat itself?
