i looked through about 10-14 pages n technical suport and each page had at least one post about players that have downloaded the game between 2/17/10-2/22/10 about having recently downloaded the game but it wont patch or other various errors i only see a GM commenting in 4 out of the 10+ threads about this is there something wrong with the game atm? is it going to be fixed soon? i am alos having the same problem with just recently downloading the game and atch problems have not even mad my toon yet, i really wana log in and play looks a lot better than wht i was laying before and A LOT CHEAPER (and yes i was laying a f2p that was very expensive)

    Sometimes it's the computer's individual spec's that can stop a game from running properly. I don't know the exact method myself, but I'm sure a GM will come in this thread soon and show you how (probably darthpanda). If not, I'd just send a ticket, and tell them that you need help finding your computer's specs.

    After every patch, people have issues either downloading the patch, or applying it.

    It is often the antivirus, firewall, or UAC Windows settings that have decided to block a game process because game files are being changed.

    The info in our FAQ covers many of these issues so people can patch up their game and get back in game.

    Sometimes player's connections aren't stable enough to auto-patch in the game, so they have to download the manual patches, and then get back into the game.

    I don't believe there is anything amiss with the game because all of our servers are live and heavily populated with players.

    I can proudly say that our tech support issues versus number of players is a number so low (it is a ridiculously low %), I can't even put it here b:victory

    I can say without shenanigans that PWE has a higher level of English based Customer and Tech Support then any other F2P game company, and we often have better Support then larger retail/download game companies. We do everything we can to get you into the game (barring regional networking issues or your hardware or software giving you more serious issues that we can't solve).

    Being a Tech Support Cyborg Panda of the Sith, I do my best to make sure our games have excellent Tech Support. We also took over another planet in the PC system, and now have Tech Support faithful working 7 days a week 10am-7pm California Time.b:chuckle

    wow i'm not use to GM really giving me a detailed explanation of whats wrong lol game i came from ugg one player solved everything while GMs did nothing on the forums. anyway. well i downloaded the game from the bit torrent everything fine tried to lay it nope didnt work( exected that) so i download all the patches(saved them) didnt work so then i do the patches again(open them this time) nope. in the top corner it says game verion 229 then at the bottom is says updating files coord_data.txt the bottom yellow bar goes up 3 times waits then is says file download error try again i do this a couple times nothing plz help mee T . T do i need to uninstall and download it a diffrent way?

    Anti-virus is turned off.
    Windows Firewall is turned off.
    Program is running as administrator with Windows XP compatibility mode (tried SP2 and SP3).

    try it without comptability mode. win 7 home 32 runs it fine. (I also STRONGLY suggest putting it in "program files x86" and not where it defaults to. Since UAC is off you won't have a problem running it, but if in doubt right-click > run as administrator) I used to have Vista 64, it didn't like PWI much either.
