Pure Dex, do I have to 1str/4dex every lvl?

What I dont get is, if your a pure dex, arent you supposed to dump every point into dex? I understand the 1 str/4dex is allocated for armor, but at lower lvls can I just add everything into Dex? I am lvl 8 right now, but I have 7 str and rest into dex to equip my snake bow. Im still new to the game, but is it better to just go with 1str/4dex every lvl, or dumping everything into dex and when I am about to acquire new armor, put it into str?

    You can't.

    Light Armor of your own level requires exactly 1 str per level.

    nope you need 3 magic 1 dex and 1 str per lvl :3 makes you pro with barage b:thanks

    but on a serious note, do that build until your a higher level with some equips that give a +str mod then relocate the extra str into dex, i think my base str is around 80? at lvl 99

    Why would you do that? If you dump all your points into dex until you need str for new equipment then yeah, you'll have slightly higher damage for a short time. Once you get new equipment though you'll be right at the same place as all the other archers your level. Worse off actually if you don't have enough spare points to put into str so you can update your armor.

    its end game only nubshiit

    like i have 2 bnds of heavens jail +7 str each
    and sky deamons pearl +8 str

    i put all that into dex my str + adds is 105

    OH NOES 2 CRIT FTW!

    btw u cant even use band, +7 and +7 str = +14dex x 2 = 24dex thats 1 crit + more attack, and it gives like a total of 130 patk so thats better than heavenly.

    example, you have lunar bow + garnet gem heavenly lord vs band here level 100 archer with 400 dex
    (822 + 75 + 110 + 110 + 100) x ( 1 + 416 / 150 + .6) = 5318
    (1527 + 75 + 110 + 110 + 100) x ( 1 + 416 / 150 +.6) = 8399
    5318 + 8399 = 6859 avg dmg x 1.24 = ~8504 avg dps with crit

    (822 + 75 + 133 + 133 + 100) x (1 + 430 / 150 + .6) = 5921
    (1527 + 75 + 133 + 133 + 100) x (1 + 430 / 150 + .6) = 8796
    8904 for its avg dps

    its not that much better, i prefer my extra crit %s over a little extra p.atk.

    for dex build just put enough in as you reach your next 10 lvls to wear the armor. When i was doing it i was lvl X1-X8 all to dex and X9-X0 to str.

    then later one pick out end game gear and spec less str if it is included in the armor.

    stupid

    crit isnt everything, i have 494 dex after all my adds and restats, base str of 82. i went from 2 FC gold rings to 2 bands ( made alot of coin there) and my attack max went up by 800. and heavenly lord wont even sell for 300K on this server

    wow, did you fall on your head when you were little? it means EVERYTHING in pvp, especially against those **** BMs and their ridiculous def, you can have all the p.atk in the world, it wont breach their defense. if i were you i wouldve stuck with those FCC rings or used that money on a lunar one.

    Band of heaven's jail is useful for a little strength bonus where you can't get it elsewhere to wear some of the higher level hp helms. However, to solely depend on it for DD/crit purposes is absurd, as it is not a great ring in that aspect. Unicorn spirit ring: order, mastadon, lunar, are all far superior in terms of that.

    100 means nothing in terms of knowledge. as far as im concerned the ones lower than 100 know a hell of alot more than most 100s, IE Elenacostel, Devoted, etc. with teachers like that to hell with your level.

    i dont have to be 100 to say get to 100 >.> and its hard to find a good archer on HL but im pretty sure the bad ones dont even recomend heavenly lord

    + i didnt use misty or mastadon, and it seams more archers on HL are now vit or hybrid dex build is rare now

    However, that is also formally equivalent to

    There, I managed to save your behind there, but I also got the nice bonus that what you said was, in effect, a pointless attempt at trolling. So basically, what you said is formally equivalent to nothing but a realistic cap set by the superhuman attribute of perfection.

    Depending on your accuracy, you may want some +acc for pvp. If you do not have the funds to get a Sign of Frost:Chaos, then a Misty Forest Ring will work. Ring of Mastadon Strength I consider to be a waste of coins now with Sign of Frost:Chaos. Save coins for a lunar ring if you have not invested in a nice +acc ring yet.

    As far as what other rings to wear(not counting rank rings). Seal of Eternal Solitude, Sign of Frost: Chaos, Ring of the Heavenly Lord. The Unicorn Spirit Ring:Order I consider to be way overpriced, not only that it has less attack than Ring of the Heavenly Lord, so to me it is fail. Band from Heaven's Jail will give you higher attack than Heavenly Lord, at the cost of critical strike. I do not consider this a fair trade IMO. We are archers, we live by critical strike. Band's to me are for melee, not archers. To even get the most out of Bands you need to restat, so to me it is fail. I have one in my backpack I use to equip a mana helm and claws if need be since my strength is totally restatted. This is not possible wearing two of them permanently.

    So to sum it up: Ring of the Heavenly Lord is very hard to beat and will last you until you get top of the line rings. Any archer that hates on Heavenly Lord rings is noobcake. The fact that they can be chipped for cheap has many think they are cheap. These rings used to be worth lots of coins! They are very nice rings.

    yup >.> that is what i did for my archer and still do...dump everything into dex and then str for new armor..and my archer is just fine...^_^
