Archers... hard? What?

So I've been playing an archer, and although people say they are quite easy, I think they're actually kind of hard. This could just be because I am level 13, so I don't have knockback yet. Does it get easier after learning knockback? Thanks b:thanks

archers are kind of on easy mode (if you know how to do play one) till about lvl 60ish.... (i think) of course if you keep takeing dmg it wont be so easy but yup after you get knockback and stun it gets alot easyer try this combo(some atk dont matter which >atk till mob gets kinda close>knockback>atk till mob is kinda close> stun>frost arrow>kite a bit with DoT>do some atks) if the mob isnt dead yet knockback should be off cool down also you can throw wingspan up(after you get it) when a mob gets realy close[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

if veno was your first character and the archer was your only alt, archers will seem hard comparatively. in reality, a lot of classes is kind of hard pre19, pre29 even.
try to squad up with other characters at that level and quest together. and yeah it does get easier as you level up
i think BM sucked horribly pre29, probably worse than archer.Elena Costel: I wash my hands of this affair.
Legerity: *drags you back* *stains your hands with said affair*
Elena Costel: Noooo... I don't want to have a dirty affair with Lady Legerity...

Yeah, I suppose coming from a veno all classes would seem harder. Oh well, I'll just try to get some patience and get to 30 or so, then see if I still like it. I also agree on the BM's sucking horribly, I got one to 17 but they're just so hard b:angry.0 -
It gets much easier after level 19. You will obtain the Trial Crossbow, and you will have Frost Arrow and Knockback.
Until then, you will need to kite more often. Also, be aware that metal skills deal full damage close up. With Winged Shell, Winged Pledge, and metal skills, you can forgo kiting and finish off the mobs. This uses a bit more mana, but you should have plenty of potions from the Supply Stash.0 -
Dont forget to pull out the handy dual axes when mobs get close! b:laugh0

hehehe I got problems with mods up close untill lvl 19 when I got knockback b:sad after that almost no problems becase I was insanely killing everything I see ( that includes bosses b:shocked ) b:cry * I realy didn't make a difrence * . Either way archer is sorta easy if you know how to play but un truth they shine most after 70 b:surrender0

Pretty much 1-20 whenever a mob got into melee range I'd pop out NPC fists and winged shell. Works a treat at low levels. xD0 -
I also started an archer about a week ago, after getting bored of my veno, and I love it so much!!! Yeah, it wasn't easy at low lvls, but knockback is awesome I'm lvl33 now, I use almost no mana pots and very rarely use hp pots (I cast winged shell whenever I can!). I kill as fast as a veno AND I have more fun with skill combos. I quitted my 6x veno for this archer and it was the best choice in my PWI lifeActive player since January 2010.0

Archer is the easiest class if played right. You need patience, strategy and good timing when you use your skill combos. Practice them. I usually donate my potions to faction members, I don't need them (no charms).forum alt0

yea i feel you about how difficult an archer can be at early levels...so at lvl 10 maybe i had a pair of claws on me...only kept them for like..3 lvls Xd after that you archer should get a lot easier. I was able to and have been soloing mobs since I started..only exception are the towers you have to kill around lvl 65+...they take too long solo >.> but once you get knock back(lvl 1 leave it there =3), seal/aim low(lvl 1 leave it there too), and winged shell(max) your archer will be extremely easy..mobs hardly ever touch me..and when they do my knock back has usually cooled down so I can cast it again and kill the mob at a distance..only mob that give me a problem now are hooded adawolf's (lvl 75 mob) but they are still easy with a lvl 8 or lvl 9 stunning arrow. so no worries your archer gets easy b:victory[SIGPIC]<--Rem...remmeber that >.>[/SIGPIC]0
