World boss times

Anyone else agree with me that world bosses should have a respawn time of 12 hours instead of 24?
Kind of unfair for people who are sleeping at the time of server reset, when all the bosses get killed, then those people are lucky to be able to kill 1 boss in a week's time because people kill the boss as soon as it spawns.

If times were set to 12 hours, then it would be fair for everyone and give a chance to everyone to kill some world bosses.

    IMO it should spawn at random times during the day so no one can kill it, then camp the spawn and farm it

    Oh dear god not random.

    As a former player of another MMORPG, ppl sat around at these spawns for Hyper Notorious Monsters (as they were called there) for hours & hours & hours & hours & .... Just to try & get the claim. Granted claims dont happen here but instead KS fests. Camping monster spawns not knowing when they'll pop just glued there doing nothing is not a fun way to play an MMO.

    Change the respawn to 18 hours. Not as abundant as 12, and would constantly shift the time zone they pop during.

    Yeah, random pops get REALLY annoying. One idea I liked in the MMO I played was the idea of triggered spawns. Farm a certain item(s) off mobs and trade to some random place to spawn a monster to fight for stuff.

    See, this is a 50/50 thing

    If it's random spawns, when people want to kill those things they will sit around and wait there for whenever the WB would respawn. And there are seriously people with enough time on their hands to just sit and wait a random respawn out.


    This very same fact means that 12 and 24 respawns can be just as camped as a random time - the only difference is people know when to appear and camp the area to get at the WB first then with random spawns.

    12 hour respawns would make WB spawns predictable, factions would still grab them just as often if not more often then they already do, people will still miss them. It just all happens more often.
    Random respawns mean you might catch them, you might not, they might repsawn on you at the worst possible time, and the areas will be camped if people and particular factions want the WB dead.

    50/50 either way. I'd say random spawns because I would love to be wandering in an area and suddenly have some WB spawn on unsuspecting victims.

    Meh, people have it so easy these days.
    When I was playing everquest, we had bosses that were part of a progression quest (ie to gain access to necessary zones) that spawned in a contested instance once every *7* days, and dropped loot such that every man and his dog on the server started a raid to kill it when it spawned.

    World bosses are rarely killed these days anyway. It is dubious if you make money killing one, considering the price of charms and gems. Unless you know a bunch of venos with 'nix's.

    Spawn Time should be random.

    WB killing should be an event ... not a mob to farm

    the thing with the 18 hour is that it would still be predictable for people to know the spawn time, with the random spawn it would be harder to farm because the farmers cant be on 24/7 waiting for the boss to spawn, thus giving other people the chance to get at it

    Having played a game that had random Notourious Monsters (Bosses) spawns, all i can say is, you underestimate the hardcore farmers if you believe this.

    No World boss times should not be random not now not ever thats stupid........... I think 24 hours is perfect for this game because there are like 20 different WBs if you can't find a boss to kill I am sorry for your loss. There is nobody in any server that camps every single WB nor can they kill all the WBs at once if you want one go find one and kill it its not terribly difficult. I mean sure the easiest WBs are killed more often because people took the time to fight them and learn what they do and kill them I think they deserve loot that comes from such a boss since they know how to kill it and probably died several deaths learning how to.


    Mmm honestly if put in their shoes you can't say you wouldn't do the same thing. I really don't want to hear I would be courteous to other players and let them get a kill cause you and I both know you wouldn't. If they don't get the kill then someone else would and you would still be without the only purpose in reducing the clock on those things would be to flood the market with chrono pages and perfect shards. And that my good people WOULD **** the market more then anni packs.

    and loltiamat. 7 day respawn anytime inside a 3 day random time.... Yes campers sat there the entire 3 days (possibly alternating with other guildies).
