k. I haven't played this game since 2008 ( The website says I joined up on Oct 9th 2009, but that is wrong ) and I see that the new expansion came out along with Psychic and Assassin.

I wasn't really too big on getting high level chars, and only stopped at a highest being 30 ( my Veno )

I''m the type of person that likes to be able to:

1. Survive fights without dying easily
2. Deal alot of damage

What I want to know is which of the two classes are good at both good for Survival and big Damage

    Neither.

    Both do lots of damage.

Both crumple faster than a paper towel soaked in gasoline then thrown into a bonfire.

Have you tried reading up on the new classes by any chance?

Both do awesome damage, but both are VERY fragile. A psychic is a little better tho, in that it atks from range, rather than being stuck at melee range like a sin.

In some ways, Assassins are the less fragile of the two. This is because they can equip light armor without losing anything on their build (Remember at least 1 STR every level and you're golden). They also have Bloodpaint which gives them a small amount of HP return when they attack.

But by far their most redeeming survival feature is the ability to take a hit which would otherwise slay you and restore you to 20% of your total HP. They can also sneak past enemies using their invisibility and lose unwanted aggro with combat invis.

They dont get that skill (called Deaden Nerves, btw) till level 39. Sins are rather difficult to level early on, as their starting skills are pretty much worthless, save for Slipstream Strike, and Puncture Wound. They dont get their really good skills till lvl 30 on.

This is true, but then similar points could be made against clerics and other classes too. The majority of player survival spells don't begin until well into the thirties (or even the fourties!), presumably because thats the level when PvP really starts.

i found that the best skills for sins you get at lvl 59, which kinda sucks at the lower lvls, but once you get Innerharmony, Headhunt, and Shadow Teleport killing things gets so much easier.
