Hitting archers consistently is always going to be a problem. Try adding a few dex points per level instead of str. True Emptiness on a pure strength genie also works wonders.

2 socketed weapon with the highest grade ambers you can afford, and mebbe a few +acc on your ornaments, usually fixes that problem.
If a pure str build really is giving you that much hassle killing certain classes, it's probably time to change build. No point sticking with something that gives heavy disadvantages. I doubt there's any class a pure str would kill easier than a heavy dex fist user either.

Other than methods mentioned above, make accuracy powders. If you know how to stun lock, Roar, take powder, keep going with lock. That or get TE and take the fight into the air (make sure you have a fast flying mount).

one thing you realy have to watch is a archers genie if they have Tstorm and a fair amound of dex in it its going to realy do some dmg to you if they hit you with the metal debuff and then drop Tstorm on you it may be lights out for you.

i dont have a bm but i can tell you the type i realy hate fighting which would be the polearm bm they have good range for a melee class and as an archer its actuly fairly hard to kite them cuz you will always take a few hits and realy thats all you should need to kill an archer..... well unless WoG or wingshell is up

Yeah I figured that putting more dex would help and honestly I have somewhere in the 70s dex lol but I capped my vit at 50. Now im doin 3 str 2 dex right now. I do know how to stun lock but that only gives me a few secs to land a few hits but I guees its better than him being able to attack me lol.Normally if I have spark I will drake bash the guy as an opening. IF not I usually do roar as an opening. I started looking into getting TE so now alll I need is a fast flying mount lol.

Add more Dex to your build and make a pure str genie True Emptiness :)
    or consider stunning them .

unless they use their genies to cast magic attack on your they're doomed since heavy armour is best physical defense.

and a bm vit should never passes 60 if you want to use endgame fists

    reqs :

    158 str
    198 dex i think

i have 87 Dex , 134 Str , 9 vit atm and it works perfectly fine

Well you probably have low DEX b:laugh . Maybe thats the problem. Like others say, get flawless amber shards. and add them to your weapon.

1 DEX every 2 LVLs not worth it.

I have build with STR enough for poles and enough DEX for fists. Best way to kill an archer, you need accuracy. They have metal attacks that can hurt you. But you got stuns.

Thanks for Flauschkatze for siggy b:cool

VIT > STR > DEX > MAG... GG
HA > LA > AR... GG

    HA + VIT = win b:bye

Pure STR genie with True Emptiness... anti-stun and then a few attacks past a charm tick + TE. Hybrid build with dex/vit somewhat balanced with a pair of misty's or other +% accuracy ring.

If you're vit/str/vit+str builds amber shards are ok. They don't receive any damage multiplier as would garnets, so I prefer garnets.

lolwut? 137 v, 292 s, 219d. I wanted to use lvl70 bow but have since gotten NB ring, so I need to restat.

Unbuffed endgame BM should have 10k+ hp and 4k+ mdef and should have enough str for axes and enough dex for fists. Your mdef ornaments should have priority over your weapon when it comes to refining. If you don't PvP or TW, then it doesn't matter, build however you want.
