Best way to increase damage for Sage

So, demon barb does more damage overall, we all know that. But if you are sage, how do you get the most damage out of a sage?

    Sage Barbs do overall more damage, demon barbs do more SPIKE damage.

    how do you get the most damage out of a sage? Easy enough, sage barbs biggest asset are HPs and you got a skill called armaggedon b:bye

    Rofl... Yet those assets are given to sage in tiger form... the increased hp bonus from tigeform... rofl... I'd love to see a tigerform barb landing an arma on smb b:chuckle

    Furthermore sage arma uses less hp to hit the same as a normal arma, but a demon one hits (can't remember exact #) 20% more dmg at using half hp... So not exactly sure where u pulled the arma advantage from...

    You have to open with the highest p.def debuff skill I do that a lot, if a mob or boss channeling while I charge, I opened with alacrity of the beast, then chained with devour, then start chaining other skills. That is where you will do more damage

    Good refines on weapon helps greatly.

    Going sage is like drunken sex, at first she may look good, but when you wake up the next morning; you'll look at her and go WHAT HAVE I DONE.

    Even sage's penatrate armor is less defense debuff than devour.

    Yes its close, you'll always deal more damage with devour, and with sage's devour can gain chi instead, then following with FR, and go human and garrote and start bashing the mobs up with mighty swing and bestial onslaught and stomp chains. This is 1 vs 1 situations.

    Now I AOE only physical mobs in spreading range with beastial rage, then use spark, then swell, then firestorm, and then slam and beastial onslaught, and repeat without firestorm (unless if mobs are metal then I use firestorm again), no invoke I got, but I can't AOE more than barbs with armageddon / invoke by myself without squad b:chuckle

    This will probably help the most overall, since sage axe&hammer mastery is a 100% weapon damage gain vs a 75% weapon damage gain, so when you refine your weapon, you're just doing more and more damage than a demon barb with the same refines. Just talking about base attack damage, anyway.

    best bet would be to refine weps. And find a good balance of HP + strength points in your character build.

    And get every sage skill possible. The added damage with each celestial skill does stack up, trust me.
