dex or not

Alright I followed the basic tank guide, up until around the 80s when it stopped being useful.

Capped str at about 272 (Min for TT90)
pumped Dex a bit till it was at 60
All of the rest is in vit

These are all base stats by the way. Now my question is, for the next 4 levels should I dump into vit, or put into dex?

One would give me 20 more dex so +1% crit and + w/e accuracy I get from that. I have currently 2 mistys and the rest of my gear doesn't really offer accuracy (cept for shards in weapons).

Or should I keep dex at 60 and put more into vit which would give me about 500+ hp in buffed human. Give or take.

Does that 20 dex make a diff in pvp? I do a lot of tanking, but I'd like to keep my options open. I know it won't help THAT much against archers or dex bms, but I seem to miss even vit axe bms. Is it like this or just my bad luck?

On the note of bloodbath, I don't like using it often unless I know I'm heading into a fight, that's a bit different. But the time it takes to cast bloodbath will lower my hp substantially (both from skill and the attack the opponent uses while I cast).

    well you say.. u do a bit of tanking so i guess u'll need good hp to survive.. if u really want to pvp almost all the time then i guess puttin some more in dex would help your accuracy.. if you want to tank and pvp at times then using the points in vit and bloodbath would make u not miss against archers as well..

    i am sure with 2 mistys u've, if not more then, around 900 to 1k accuracy.. with BB u'll have get it to around 1.8k which is good amount of accuracy.. so if you use the extra points for vit it would more or less balance out a bit of the hp decrease due to BB..

    vit is always good in my opinion b:chuckle

    I've got 2 misties and dex is at 65 including adds. My accuracy is about 1400...more dex would be nice but I don't see a great deal of misses. I don't PvP though I can't tell you how that would work.

    If it were me, I'd keep dumping into Vit and Str but that's just me.

    2x misties+demon bloodbath(if you go that route)would give you heaps of accuracy to hit most anything, not to mention 2 skills that always hit.

    I would say dump into vit.

    Yeah Dump it straight into vit

    im a level 82 with level 3 Bloodbath and i have 1.5k accuracy just by following the guide and a few adds my dext is only 57 with adds

    i'd say its up to you but an extra 20 points for 1% crit isnt really worth it

    I'm going to put around 65 dex. With the TT90 green leggings and gold helmet, it adds up to 80 dex b:victory Can't go wrong with that imo.

    PvE: 60 dex
    PvP 80+ dex
    PvEvP: 80 dex on the dot.

    I have 80 dex on the dot and I rarely miss on Dex builds, Bestial Onslaught to decrease their evasion does wonders and I never use Blood Bath. Being Demon also helps, we have a few skills that never miss (so does Sage but Sage Bestial Onslaught is just bad, the extra time it takes is so annoying it's not even funny)

    i have close to 80+ dex with my lion king axes and other gear if u want a good pvp/tank ring go with 1 mist and the 59 lockmer ring...mine has 8 vit and 8 dex. then u have the tt 80 bracers for 7 strength 7 dex and 6 vit and a couple others. i am a tank mostly but i can pvp its about finding a balance. i have killed linchen on my server and thats an epic pwn. i killed her at level 81 by myself.......with cleric buffs but still there is no reason a tank can't pvp. you just have to get the right gear.

    If you plan on tanking do NOT use bloodbath. If you have accuracy issues there are numerous rings with accuracy % bonuses that will bump you way over 1,000+ by 90. If you're sage, just put them into vit -- if demon, maybe 2 and 2 (dex and vit), if you aren't going to re-stat for higher dex.

    Ofcourse don't use it whilst tanking, but if your pvping or dueling it is a very helpful skill.... And at max is only takes away 15% of your life but enables you to hit your enemy far more often.

    Unless you want to be one of a kind and spend lots and lots of RL money to get your hp and have a insane crit rate the best thing you can do is cap your str at 272 and your dex at 60. No matter what your trying to do a barb's biggest weapon is the hp..... Armageddon..... If you are able to make the tt90 gold axes especially.

    200 dex but i have alot of 10 vit stones to make up for the high dex
    i still have 18.2k hp in human with 200 dex
    haha i run around with lunar 95 claws for fun
    its not a good build if you dont have the gear to make up for the hp lost
    so dont do it xD

    That's insane... wish I could do that @_@... Hey just wondering... how much hp would you have if you were a vit build with all those vit stones lol

    He has 14k hp but then again he has 5 attack speed ^^

    Wouldn't it be better to just be a fist BM then if you want to use fists? I mean... the whole point of Barb is massive HP... and 14k isn't much for a Barb. >_>

    I do agree, BUT I had the same build a while back and I will say it was pretty awesome! Dex Barb = Stronger Phys Attack then a BM also, We get Strength of Titans and Posion Feng. In reality though unless you've soaked a major amount of real life money in to your barb, you'd be better off to role a BM.

    There wouldn't really be a huge difference in damage. Especially since barbs get poison fang and strength of titans. Also, very few fist BM's, if any, have 14k hp. So if you just wanted to use fists, dex build barb isn't exactly a bad idea. And 14k is more than enough to tank effectively.

    BM would be a better choice for skills and sheer versatility though.
