Anyone else find it annoying with the world chats saying "Sexy ______ looking for hot GF. PM me!"
How desperate can you be to want to have a pixelated girlfriend?

    I find it as annoying as the way you have written your topic title...

    Then again, i met my rl man in a game, so i know you can find love in games, but i wasn't advertising for one lol.
    I basically think advertising it over wc is just a way of getting attention for some people.

    the one that really gets annoying after a time, is when the players who are actually chicks, are hitting on you all the time b:sweat

    its even worse when you're already spoken for and they know damn well b:surrender
    I have officially "won the game"... Actually, I decided it was time to leave.
    Joined sometime in March of 2009 - right after Dreamweaver opening.
    Retired on March 16, 2010... 1 year later...

    Well, its often that they'll find themselves in a situation where they probably will get what they're asking for in the worst way.
    On a good note, it's not as bad as how it is with certain other games with way less customization ability. Here, you might have the chance of looking like your character. But, even with that, there's the chance that you could end up with a G.I.R.L, potential jailbait, or a rare case, she's possibly old enough to be your pedophile, especially if you're a minor. For a girl, it could possibly be the same situation.

    To be honest, if these people want to use world chat because they're that desperate for an internet relationship or EXP, let them.

    After all, as annoying as it is, these are the people you know to avoid. It's free advertisement in more ways than one if you look at it that way. You know to avoid them, and they might happen across some G.I.R.L or their own personal stalker, etc. etc.

    ROFL. I was going to say the same thing, a pixelated girlfriend? Seriously. And why do people comment on how you look when you are clearly a animated character? Most people want a 'sexy' girlfriend is for a Cashshopper.

    I wasn't advertising, but I found my IRL BF in this game. O.o We got married in game and stuff, then found out we only lived a couple hours form each other. Now we see each other all the time. He's the love of my life. =D

    Solution: get a real-life relationship and play PWI with your significant other. ;)

    I've noticed a trend in MQs, also: in 80% of couples, one of the people is a cleric. Understandable since a lot of the MQ bosses are really annoying... but it just screams to me "they married for exp." Sometimes I wonder if people think the same of myself and my gf, since she's a cleric also (but we used marriage packs long before the MQ system came out).

    Yesterday the couple in front of us consisted of a barb and a heavy-armor veno with a mechrab for a pet. I had to respect them, because they looked like a pair who had some legitimate reason to use marriage packs (i.e. a reason other than "I feel like spending $30 to get exp every day!").

    Although my main is a Veno, I married my RL Fiancee's Veno when the packs went on sale. We'd been discussing it for a long time, and when I started seriously playing my Wizard, we'd decided to marry those two eventually. It was my surprise V-Day present to her, since both of us could really care less about the card/chocolate/flowers **** V-Day is usually about. And we enjoy doing the MQ just for a reason to play together. The EXP is just a very nice bonus.

    While Veno and Wizard isn't exactly the optimal couple for that quest... I think it'll start paying off later for Rebirth runs. Wizards are usually the hardest to find, and a Wizard with connections to a good Veno? Especially a Wizard and Veno who have seen firsthand what is needed, due to my Veno main? I think RB squads are going to love us.
