Wait I thought it only cost 1mill spirit to learn not 1mil coin and 1 mill spirit to learn.

Technically, you're right. In the actual skill menu, you only need 1 million Spirit to learn the skill. However the NPC price of the 10 Medium Inks that you will need, in addition to the 20 Apocalypse Pages, will come out to a little over 1 million coin.

Wrong, you don't need an extra million. Just the ink, pages, and spirit.

As far as the skills, I only have Wings of Protection, but it's pretty amazing. It doesn't pull aggro, so it's great to use while someone's pulling, or when aggro hasn't been established yet.

I think the forges in Old Heaven's Tear as the skill books- I can't recall if City of a Thousand Stream does or doesn't.

Yes, both books are worth getting. Wings of Protection puts a shield on other players absorbing 20% of their maximum HP before vanishing.

Guardian of Light puts a barrier around you absorbing damage and increasing how fast you run for a short time.

Neither skills are hugely worth the money. You can get by without them if you're short on coins.

You misunderstand, I never said they we'rent handy- but at lvl 79 you can easily get by without either of these skills. Guardian light would be the one to get tho if you think you need it.

I actually think 79 skills become alot more useful later in game.

Ive recently aquired both thanks to tokens and i pretty much agree with the majority. Both have there uses in certain situations but you wont really find yourself "needing" them. WoP would be awesome with a better cooldown but still decent as is.

I love them both. It's especially nice in pvp to have a short lived godmode (let off both at once) that guards against both kinds of damage.

Wings of Protection is also a lifesaver if things take a bad turn during a Polearm fight. It seems like Pole got beefed up since a few patches ago, so sometimes the barb takes more damage than anticipated.

I got both thanks to coral packs. They are great but since they have 5 and 3 min cooldown i use em more for emergencies.

I know some ppl respoded, but just to be clear:
to make skill book go to OHT. you need 20 apocalypse pages and 10 medium ink. ink is bought from npc near forges and i had to pay 1,1 mil coins for it. then you bring book to any cleric trainer and pay 1 mil sp to learn skill (no more coins tho)

    As for actual skills:
guardian light - lifesaver for you. plume shield absorbs only phys damage, this one absorbs mag too, when in tight situation can be difference between wipe and survival
wings - lifesaver skill too, can be cast on anyone (guardian is self cast only), buys some time even on squishy classes, though effect is best on barbs (its hp percentage)
yes, they are very expensive, but i did use them several times and worked well. yes, you can live without, but i like safety margin they give me...
