What is stopping me from connecting to the University network?

I have an internet connection, and i get as far as putting in my name and password, but it can't log in. Everything else works fine, but I can't play PWI. How can I circumvent this, do I need to set up a proxy server?

    It is most likely the administration of the University. Contact them and ask them to priorise port 29,000.

    Do you mean prioritize? And also wouldn't you expect it's cut off for this exact reason?

    then copy the pwieast2.perfectworld

    "open traceroute"?

    and then I enter the IP, but I have to choose a server?

    it means you should ask teh administrator/IT tech if you can play or not.
