What can I strive for as an archer?

I'm building an archer with max dex and using evasion as my basis for defence.
Is this a good idea?

I also would like an explaination on cultivation and what levels things start happening.

PS i cant find chingling... she is supposed to be by the north west part of plume city and i cant find her.

    no thats another quest, chinling's soul is in north plume infront of the rivercross captain

    It's also fail in pvp.
    Hp gear/shards is the way to go.

    Should i switch to a melee weapon at close range?
    And what are the celestones used for?
    i have 2 mirages and a few of the other ones...

    Mobs should be dead by the time they get in melee range. So the answer to that is no.

    There are a few strong attacks such as the lightning one and winged pledge that work well at close range. You should switch to those when needed.

    There is no best genie for an archer. It all comes down to what skills u require.

    The following skills are pretty useful in PVE:-
    1.) Holy Path -> Increases movement speed to max (15 m/sec)
    2.) Wind Shield -> Reduces damage taken and increases attack rate and evasion by 10%
    3.) Extreme Poison -> Target takes 20% more damage
    4.) Frenzy -> Increases attack level by 20 (20% more damage) while reducing all your defense/resistances
    5.) Lightning Chaser -> Can interrupt skills based on chance
    6.) Earthquake -> Gives 100% chance to interrupt but can be used only when on ground.
    7.) Oxygen bubble -> Makes you immune to water damage and anti-water effects
    8.) Nullify Poison -> Makes you immune to wood damage and anti-wood effects
    9.) Soul of fire -> Makes you immune to fire damage and anti-fire effects
    10.) Absolute Domain -> Makes you and allies in a 5m radius around you immune to damage.

    Also note that for learning these skills on your genie, the genie's level should meet the level requirement of the skill.

    There are a lot of other skills, some of which restore HP, inflict status, etc and are available depending upon the playing style.

    Others are free to add in as they wish.

    First off all

    Evasion is **** defence b:surrender use hp shards for gear and psy attack for weopn ( no idea weather psy def shards are worth in my opinion hp shards are better )


    The Genie is personal preference but I recomand for pve for holy path and secound wind/tree of protection ( depending on your build )

    Chinlying's soul ( forgot the name sorry b:shutup ) is in North of Plume near north bridge to Plume Forest

    i like to have remove paralize and Thunder Storm on my genie (i use pure dex build genie with lvl 10 Tstorm) remove paralize is good if you get caught in a stun lock click it and use wings of grace and get outta there lol, and i like to use Tstorm with my metal debuff when someone gets too close its good for ending a fight quick or getting a quick tick on someones charm, from my exp even light armored and arcane armored ppl take pretty good dmg from it
