Almost no christmas event... no new years event... no valentine's day event...

Where have the events gone...?

    The same place the rest of the fun aspects of the game went... away.

    Events don't bring in money, so the PW gods don't deem them necessary. They relented to overwhelming requests for a Christmas event with a poor copy/paste version of the previous, and they even managed to **** up a large portion of that.

    So, no event. Happy Valentine's Day. Enjoy the cash shop sale.

    Last year's major events (Christmas, New Year's, etc...) were already in the code from the years before PWI even started.

    This year the development team has been busy with making expansions instead.

    I'm personally ok with the major events taking a year-off vacation. I'm sure they'll be back next year.

    More events would be nice.

    Although yes, the Death From Above event wasn't as good as everyone thought, its still a sign that they're listening to us. Frankie saw that everyone was complaining about the lack of events and a few days later organized this one. Maybe they need more time to plan other kinds of events. J.D. has a playathon event today where people can win some nice stuff, it could work just as nicely in PWI.

    I dont think we had a real event since last valentines day. Sure the 2x event could be counted, but is it really any diffrent from what we already do. I doubt we'll get any evens ever again since it seems like the GM's arent doing anything anymore. The GM's took out the tournament agent, no valentine event and they havent said a single word as to whats going on. I remember a GM said that 2010 was going to be a great year for PWI, so far it hasnt been anything special.

    I dont really count events run by GMs as real event. Anyone could just log in, and do the same thing as what the GMs are doing. Best part is, is that its only on at a certain time, unlike the old in-game events like the Xmas events.

    Maybe he only know those pack as event b:laugh, and don't know the common event that usually something that help mmo stay alive from other mmo with better feature.

    I came here a little after a game related to RUNning and ESCAPEing, so I was quite disappointed. Though that game which I did not just subtly point out may have sucked, you have to admit it had some pretty nice events.

    QQ about not being able to kill the snowmen (other people were faster)
    QQ about V-day last year, the flower patch
    QQ about new years event.. takes forever just like World Quest
    QQ about GM meet event : too many players -> Lag

    So NOW everyone is QQing about Lack of events...

    People are just never happy....

    And the 2X Drop / 2X XP Is an event.

    We rarely even have events anymore so I don't understand all of the QQ. b:surrender

    And for the 2x Drop/ Exp / Spirit Event, That should be permanent for every weekend and some events that make it last a week or longer. Ijs

    Personally, and I know people will flame me for this, but personally, I would prefer it if PWI didn't have ANY events. None. No Holiday events, no double or triple xp events, no meet the GM events, nothing.

    It would make things a lot more basic. Everybody would know that no events will happen. So the only crying will be from the ones who can't handle that and EXPECT things to be handed to them.

    Having NO events eliminates any favoritism towards any one belief system such as a Chinese New year event, valentines event, Christmas event or anything else. It puts all the players on exactly the same level (figuratively).

    That is my opinion. If you dislike it, you are welcome to do so as your opinion matters about as much to me, as mine does to you, which is not at all.
