Need help. Desperately.

Okay, so I have a problem. For all I know, I might have just accidentally pressed some button and caused it myself, but regardless, I have absolutely no idea how to go about fixing it. I've tried to contact a GM in game, but have gotten no response. I've tried sending a ticket to customer support, but haven't gotten a response there either yet. I might still need to wait some, dunno, but I'm still gonna post here anyway.

So here it is. I can't access my inventory. I can't see it. I click on the button, it doesn't work. The pop up screen simply will not show. Even worse, when I try to go to a merchants, any merchant, whether it be a blacksmith, an apothecary, a craftsman, a tailor....anything that involves accessing my inventory forcibly, it bugs the whole game up, and I am left unable to move. My avatar simply will not respond to any commands given. No skills, not even an attempt at movement despite me trying to do so. Not only that, but none of the buttons work either. The Public Relations button, the systems button, nothing works. Oddly enough, the one thing that DOES work, is my map. I can access the map through hot key.

I also am able to otherwise type in squad chat, faction chat, etc. So it's not any form of lag. I am completely and utterly lost as to what is going on. Hence...the title...I need help. Desperately.

    verify your client, and hope for the best? (if that doesn't wok, there's a few files you can get rid of that should fix it)

    I'm sorry, could you elaborate on all of that? This problem has been persisting and quite frankly, if I can't find a way to fix it, my PW days are gonna be over. And I rather enjoy the game....but I can't play if I can't even access merchants. Bear with me.....I know absolutely nothing about techy stuff...

    Also, for the record, I have been playing for several months with absolutely no problem. This literally came out of nowhere. I was in the middle of an FB, I left in the middle to clear my inventory, and this problem just hit me smack dab in the face when I tried selling some things.

    I've reinstalled the game, I've redownloaded the game, I've restarted the computer, I've logged in, logged out....nothing has worked thus far.

    Just finished verifying, but that didn't work either. Any other ideas, anyone?

    sure do. there is a file which stores all the locations when the client closes/crashes these files probably got corrupted. so navigate to: element\userdata\Layout\

    there are ini files in there, simply delete them, the UI will reset and create new files. Do not delete the ".KEY" files, I have no idea what they're actually for, but the inis are clear as to what purpose they serve

    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    think you could find out what the "key" files are for? I have 6 chars and only 3 keys lol
