How to spam heal macro

Topic says all.. Can u macro spam heal pet while he is killing TT bosses?

Gets kinda boring to keep down heal button 20mins (Cosmoforce in TT2-1)

And i cant use Scarab between heals.. Just Pet heal.

I know one macro that works infinite:

Walk behind --> Pet Heal --> Normal attack.

But dont wanna repair my sword. So just heal will do here b:thanks

    You have to repair your wep when you heal too.

    Yea, we'd all like to be able to farm while afk.

    The best you can do is make a marco spamming heal / venemous scarab.

    I can heal on a macro! My fluffy kitty never dies when I do, mabye you should get a new pet! b:cute



    Anyway... Yeah it's a pain to solo TT's as a Veno but you're the only class that can do it, I think being forced to hold down a key for 20 minutes is a more than fair tradeoff to be able to make over 2m each run. If I had a Herc on my Veno I'd farm TT's all day, I have no problem holding down the same key for an hour while watching t.v.

    If they allowed spam healing to be macroed, then it would **** off the players that invested in toothpicks. b:angry

    Pwi would not care, like always. It would be like when they released dragon orbs for 80 gold, I mean+10 dragon orb.

    Depends on the level I guess but by 101 with a decent weap and of course a 101 herc you should be able to macro heal almost everything.

    friend of mine heals 3-1 bosses w/ venemous/heal macro.

    tbh i am jealous. very jealous.

    1) Buy herc
    2) Hit lvl 83 and learn Pet Heal lvl 9
    3) Make a Walk-around + Pet Heal + Normal Attack macro
    4) ???
    5) Profit!

    At lvl 83 with 300 mag and HH80 Endless Ambiguity, I was able to solo HH3-1 using the pet heal + normal attack macro. Granted, it was very slow due to my pet's low damage so I only tried it out of curiosity.

    At lvl 90 with 350 mag and 89 mold Requiem Blade, I am able to solo HH3-1 using the pet heal + venomous scarab macro (walk-behind -> heal -> venomous -> heal -> ironwood). To be able to safely do this, however, I had to +4 my weapon and put in one Sapphire Gem (+3 was not suffice as I had to periodically add in an extra heal and restart the macro). Note that 1) my herc has the rare Bless skill which gives +30% HP (and thus gives me a nice margin of safety) and 2) I am using Requiem Blade (instead of the more ideal Wraith Conqueror) as I plan to restat heavy once I have my gear fully farmed.

    I would assume, however, that at lvl 93 with lvl 10 pet heal things will be much easier and doable without a Bless'd Herc and with only a +3 Wraith Conq.

    Why use a normal attack in a marcro?

    Normal attack is melee bashing, and it seems verry inefective to bash a mob with a magic sword. Unles maybe it's kunkun b:surrender

    When solo tanking, there are two situations:
    1) Your pet is not a herc or does not have much HP. As a result, you have to spam heal non-stop or your pet dies. Your "macro" is Pet Heal -> Pet Heal -> Pet Heal...

    2) Your pet is a herc or you are significantly higher level. In this case, you can afford to make a macro which is Pet Heal -> Venomous Scarab -> Pet Heal -> Ironwood Scarab -> repeat

    Suppose you are in situation 1). Do you want to sit there the entire day holding down one button until your hand cramps? Most likely not. Do you want to make a heal macro that will both allow you to assure the survival of your pet AND not cramp your hand (assuming you have an MP charm)? Yes. Can you make a spam-Pet-Heal macro? No. Pet Heal has a cooldown which will stop the an all-Pet-Heal macro.

    What can you do to remedy this? Stick in a normal attack in between heals. A normal attack is short and fast but gives the Pet Heal cooldown enough time so that when the cycle repeats, you will Pet Heal again. Is the normal attack intended to add on to your boss damage? No. Are you wearing down your weapon faster than normal? Yes. Can you AFK using this macro? Yes.

    Lazyness FTW! Since I have a herc now, however, I no longer need to rely on this macro. This macro did, however, allow me to AFK tank all the HH3-1 bosses (excluding the first) and allow me to do other more interesting things in the meanwhile. No veno enjoys sitting in front of a computer for an hour holding down one button and if there's a way to avoid it in exchange for a slightly-larger repair bill, most will take the repair bill.
