    Well we had a half-baked Xmas event.
    Unless they do something at the last minute, it looks like anything for Valentines day without the word purchase in it is a no go.

    So no I wouldnt hold my breath for any event that isnt "sale" based

    The saddest part about this is that it seems like every other version of PW gets free events and things that don't seem to include any cash shop items, or if they are there aren't very many.

    From everything that I've seen, no, don't expect any event by this branch of the company to give you a free anything that doesn't in some way require you to get a pack or something from the cash shop. It's sad, it's somewhat repulsive, and it's the truth.

    I know of plenty of other game companies that go out of their way to give free stuff in hopes that players will like them and support the company. Never in my life have I seen so many cash related things with no amount of free content balance.

    If they are getting that low on funds don't cash shop us to death. Just tack on a membership fee and be done with it. At least that way we might get events that are actually fun to play and don't end up half done. (Santa Claus quests and the snowball seller) If they really want to just charge for everything like it seems then don't even bother doing any events at all. Just use the little time they spend re-doing old events and REMOVING parts of them to fix bugs. It would be a better use of their time and give players something tangible that doesn't cost real money.

    Long story short, don't ever expect this version of the game to do any event that is worth doing for free. There will ALWAYS be a real world cost because they apparently gave up on customer satisfaction if there aren't $$$ included.

    Yeah they do seem to lack the basic marketing knowledge that " A happy customer is more than likely to spend more than an unhappy more "

    The next sentence sounds weird but it is the truth.
    Make the game more enjoyable to play for free and more people are likely to pay for it.
