which is the most fun class to play as in pve, meaning you will not get bored, because as i have realized and i bet many others have, Venomancers are pretty boring, but what is the most fun class to play as?

I know I just started my veno, but I'm loving her. I'm having a lot of fun, way more than my cleric.

So, it's way too subjective. There is no way to measure "fun". Honestly, I think starting a new class--any class--refreshes the experience as you try to learn the skills and tactics required.

If you think not having to shell out $8 a week to play you high level character correctly is fun, do the veno. If you are a rich and spoiled child with infinite zhen to charge I would suggest playing an archer in PvE. You will feel like you actually posses an E-pen when you see the high numbers followed by the words 'critical hit' next to them. Yes, +10 that CV bow and just ogle at yourself!

I live to die so you dont have to

If you want to see someone smashing their weapon while dancing and borrow so many weapon with you then try blade master.

If you like pointy feather on your head, everyone pm you rez please, and chased by so many poison mob but not died then try cleric.

If you like to see big number, not mind long casting on early lv, and running around on early lv, then try wizard.

If you like to seeing panda man, tiger man, lion man, wolf man, turn into white tiger, and see long duration fight on early lv then try barbarian.

If you like pointy feather on your head, also bow, and arrow then try archer.

If you like dancing while slashing with dagger, become mermaid, and disappear then try assassin.

If you like borrowing a ball on your right hand everywhere, become mermaid, and sit a lot for your mp then try psychic.

Since you don't like venomancer i don't think i have too add veno here. b:laugh

I beg to differ - I don't think venos are boring. I am playing one and I'm having a lot of fun. As a veno, I am my own little party - there are my pets (and I have 10 of them), there is my genie, and I can join the melee as fox or I can hurl death from a distance. I can lure mobs out of a pack and finish them where the others don't aggro. I can solo some bosses. I have a lot of daily tasks: Levelling up my pets, my genie, my fighting skills, my crafting skills. I can tame some mobs and sell the eggs. I can even make all class pets and sell them. Then there are the rare pets, one day I will try to catch one. The day isn't just long enough to do all of this, really. I would have enough work/ fun to be busy even without any quest.

On the other hand, you can grind, let your pet do all the work and just click heal - this might be boring but you don't have to do it this way.

    Just my 2 silver...

Actually i think these thread name should be changed . . . b:surrender

Since " PVE " word is included, people would think the best class that has almost no repair cost and low consume of item a.k.a venomancer or the conclusion is character to making money.

Though it not always like that, i know some people that does not has venomancer character and not a cash shopper but very rich even though they not doing high lv mats gathering. b:bye (a.k.a something like TT)

What fun for PVE ? Anything that you enjoy to see and not making you regret after picking it as your class. b:laugh

I have to agree that Veno's aren't my particular favourite either. It's not that capturing pets and having them at your beck-and-call is bad, just that the majority of builds rely largely on your pet doing most of the grunt work. I don't really enjoy spectator classes.

Wizards are fun, but extremely brittle. It's nice to deal huge damages, but aside from a few niche jobs, I've found that wizards aren't really sought after compared to other classes. They're pretty much an [insert DD here] when you have a space to fill. Unfortunately, this can make it trickier to get squads compared to some other classes until later levels when your skills really will be sought after.

Clerics, on the other hand... okay, I know I've said this before but I adore the class. We can solo well, we're a staple role in every squad and we can damage both magically and physically. Perhaps 'perfect' is too strong a word, but it really is the perfect class for someone like myself. I've always loved healer jobs in other MMOs. People respect you for keeping them alive and you can make friends quickly by rezzing players in the field or healing them if they're in danger and buffing them.

I won't lie to you though, im biased against most melee classes. Standing around in auto-attack mode for ages, chipping away small chunks of HP just seems so dull. I ran a Blademaster and an Assassin and got bored quickly. Granted, neither of them levelled past 20, but all the same I found the classes never appealed. You throw in the occasional skill, maybe a bleed or a stun, but you can't really spam them due to limited MP and since they all deal physical damage, theres little variation.

Haven't tried Barbs or Archers, so I can't really comment on those.
