So I just did the Cube Of Fate for the first time (and this is my 8th character b:avoid), and completed it. So... when I got the chest of coins, I realized I'm now stuck with what is probably the most useless item in the game.
Of course, it wasn't useless back when hammers were only 500k. But now they're, what, 1.5mil?
What am I supposed to do with this thing? b:sweat
NPC it? Try to sell it (as if anyone would buy it)? Or hold on to it, hoping that gold prices will go back to 100k (which also wont happen)?

If anything... I think the devs should change the amount of coins it gives you. It's obvious that on all servers, this box has now become useless. You have to pay more to open it than what you get back from it.

    It still wouldn't work.best thing to do is to lower the coins from 1 mil to 100k and let you open it for free.

    I guess you're right. Anything works for me, so long as I actually benefit from opening the damn thing.

    Sell it for 50k , you'd be surprised how people seem to either collect them or know some glitch I don't lol.

    They really should do something about it. But they probably aren't. Because the people who open it just buy hammers with real money. Even though you could buy a charm for 4 gold and sell it for more than you'd get by spending the 5 gold to open the box for.

    Good luck getting more.

    If you actually sold it for 50k, trust me, the buyer would be the one getting ripped off.

    Basically, no you can't benefit from them at all. Collectors usually have hundreds on alts. If I get one in frost, I either NPC it or dump it in a starter town.

    When you're in a squad that's about to finish off some fb boss, ( that usually drops stuff) ninja in & drop it when the boss dies. b:chuckle That's how I got rid of mine =3

    yes, i agree they should do something about these boxes. useless items that just take up space, and that's supposed to be our reward for a thing like delta or frost? lol. fail. epic fail.

    The box was designed way back when the economy wasn't so fluctuant. If gold price is under 200k (wich btw will never ever happen again) you can actualy benefit from it, but verry much. Otherwise, well, npc it :)))

    I dont think they will rise, theyr price seems to be more depending on Anni/Coralpacks.

    Just make them open up without a hammer would be the best thing i guess.
    Because right now, they are really worthless...

    If they had done this when they 1st came out, it would have been great.

    If they do this now it would be an absolute DISASTER!!
    People have hundreds, maybe thousands of these stockpiled. If they suddenly popped them all open, even if it was a reduced reward, the amount of coin flooding into the economy would create a spiralling out of control inflation more destructive then the Anni/Coral Packs could ever be.
