Does Soul of Vengeance have the ability to crit ?

There were several situations where the Soul of Vengeance's reflection did more (about twice) damage than the usual. It happened to me a couple times, and it had nothing to do with special abilities the mobs could have, cause it happened with almost all of em.

So, I'm starting to wonder if Soul of Vengeance can hit criticals. Anyone else experienced this ?

edit : damn typo in the title :(

No. The reflect is based on your Soulforce, therefore whatever damage your opponent deals doesn't matter. That's why it's confusing me.

no it does not crit. the skill does a fixed value based on your soulforce and i think itss resistance/defence back to any thing that deals damage or casts a damage producing spell on you (or buffed member). example that triger reflect, melee attacks and dmg causing skills, magic attacks, magic DOT. i have never seen it reflect damge in responce to a stun or sleep that doesnt hurt me.

I haven't seen the words "Crit", but there have been some occasions where I've done about twice as much damage as I normally would with soul of vengeance. I'm suspecting it is a crit, seeing as how the monsters which it happened to were not under any sort of status.

I have about 8% crit as LA, and though I'm not sure if it affects SoV as a whole, I'm pretty sure I've seen the skill crit on occasion.

Gonna pay more attention to it and see if I screenshot it as proof.

Yes, it does crits. Well it's not written on the screen as crit, but somtimes it does double damage while the same mob is hitting me. (I let the mob hitting me for testing purpose, usually mobs doesn't hit me b:chuckle)
And I've just noticed SoV is affected by attack lvl. The damage reflected while White Woodoo on is about 37.4% of the damage with Black Woodoo. Tested on myself using 1 mob, both woodoos are maxed.
I don't know if it depends on the caster's attack lvl or the person's who wears SoV buff.
It doesn't really matter, people doesn't like SoV, so i never buff anybody.

People will love the Sage version. No MP drain.

Anyways, it will be based on the attack level of the person buffed, because they are the one doing the reflect damage, not the caster.

    Good question!

And if I'm honest, I haven't a clue about whether it crits or not......

The few times I did get hit, I was too busy whacking the **** out of stuff to notice the damage reflection.
    My apologies! b:cry

Sorry for offtopic, but why is SoV affected by Attacklevel? The skill says "8% of Soulforce". There's nothing written with Attacklevel ._.
Is it a bug or what? b:shocked
