Patch Notes Version 279
Released February 10, 2010

Changes:

Removed the 3rd chat window.

Removed the Tournament Agent NPC. As a result, his Warsoul turn-in options have been moved to Jolly Old Jones.

Added various localization.

Um 150mb patch for JUST this? I would like some more information then on localization... Honestly to release a patch this big and give this little information as to what has been changed is inadequit.

Demands to know what more is in the patch.b:surrender

    They probably included some files that will bee applied in a future patch, like the revised version of Lunar Glade.

    It's a common practice by most game designers, so the players don't have to download a big 1 gb patch at one time. They divide it into smaller batches. It makes it also easier on their update servers.

    the UI was reverted a few releases so there were probably a few big changes

    I agree with Shiilune, i always read the patch notes, and thats just a joke to me.
    Yeah i think it might be future content, but i wonder why dont they tell us what is there, the same way they just did when the tideborn expansion was going out.

    See? I wanna know what im filling my system with... (Not to mention that the patch notes page, hasnt been actualized from last patch in january)

    Yes for being 150mb..im like wtf..only 4 descriptions on update. From other games I have played they will include everything in the patch notes. I have seen some that have been a one page length. I mean like the last update before hand they gave us and upcomin update notes.

    Maybe they don't really know what it includes? Based on my observations its possible they don't know. Look at that silly third chat box. The forum admins didn't even know what it did.

    Edit: There's always at least one or two things that happened that weren't noted in the Patch Notes...this time it was the removal of the Tideborn trainers by the Elder.

    i did the update automatically from the client and it was done in a few secs o_o

    something tells me i didn't dl 150mb worth of patch so wth >_>
