Let's say you such gear, which weapon would you choose for pvp purposes only (Demon BM):
#1 http://pwcalc.ru/pwi/?char=f3cba61726da1560
#2 http://pwcalc.ru/pwi/?char=f39da5c42333c3b8
The stats would be smth around what is shown - just focus on pvp and gear. Throw your opinion. Thanks.
p.s. keep in mind that with swords you would use skills and with fists - well, mostly just a hit

Consider you only have -0.05 intervals, I'd go with swords.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Um i have -0.15 interval, not -0.05. -0.1 from wrists and -0.05 from hh99 armor set (when having 2 set items)0

Sorry for not even looking but the answer is simple. Restat to dex build for fists.
Fists for single targets/bosses. Axe for dragons and multiple targets/AoE.
A fist/claw BM with -int gear brutally **** in PvE. So much that I restat dex so I could use CV Claw / HH100 Fists so I could be of use in Nirvana.
It's really that simple.I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.0 -
If possible both since you may want to use sword & fist skills likewise. If your build allows and you want to decide for one of the two then fist.0

My bad, didn't see it clearly. You could get Ashura's ornaments for extra -ints to help fists. Without a lot of -int such as from weapon and tome/cape, it won't be easy to PvP with fists without the help of Occult Ice.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Yea, i was thinking about Ashura's stuff for more -0.05 interval, but i think that if i get lucky and have all hh99 heavy set: +3% crit is better then -0.05 interval.
Besides, i have strength genie with occult ice - wonderful skill0 -
Pretty much all the 100+ BMs I see split their TT99 either through armor pieces or ornaments. This maybe because they can afford other -int gears. If you are not getting other -int gears, I can't really speculate whether 3% crit or -0.05 int would help you more b:surrender. *Waits for math from Telarith*[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

They are nice, but they are not cheap (about 60mil). TT100 fists are superb also, but they cost even more. That's why i put in TT99 gold fists, cos with my time spent ingame and the amount of gold i could charge - TT99 weapon is the most reasonable item i can get. Ofcs i would go for TT100 one, but i couldnt afford it.0

Oh, and also i started to wonder - should i go for fists if (let's say) I am able to get only -0.15 interval ?0

3% crit works out to 3% extra damage over time, which on bosses can be considerable. Even with just one -.05 interval anywhere and wielding fists, you automatically deal 7.7% extra damage without even counting the extra chi gain. The crit is more useful in PvP, where you hope for lucky continuous crits to spike some damage in. But without a high amount of -interval, auto-attacking with fists will put severe limits on who you can and can't kill.
So either way, crit is not going to be as useful as even beginning -interval adds. And when you consider each consecutive -interval increases damage more and more, there is never a time crit will out-weigh interval reduction gear for average damage in PvE. And if PvP'ing with fists, you would need a high amount of -interval (3.33 APS+, with weapon swapping), you will likely have to choose interval again over crit to ensure the crit you already have is at max efficiency. Plus with 3 pieces of HA TT99 gold, you can recast the pants for an extra -.05 interval added on; giving your armor adds alone a total of -.25 interval in the end.
Best set-up for DPS fists is looking to be:
Lunarglade Cape: Energetic
Tome Love Up and Down or Life Everlasting (fingers crossed since 2008 b:chuckle)
Nirvana/Gorenox/Deicide (depends on what all gear you have, and refines)
TT99 Gold Boots and Wrists
TT99 Gold Belt and Chest
Nirvana leggings
Cube Elemental Necklace (G14, 15, or 16 preferred)
Gives you high amount of phys def, with a necklace that can have a large mag def refine thanks to its grade while keeping the 5% max health boost. Already made a post in Drunken Chu's guide about why Gorenox is often better than Deicide, everything else is mostly self-explanatory.
PS: Oh yeah, formula for finding effect of -interval on damage % is to take the new APS minus the old APS (in this case 1.54 - 1.43 with base fists getting -.05 interval). Divide that by the value before the boost to find % increase in damage (.11 / 1.43 = 7.69%) That is how much extra damage those extra attacks equal out to.Fist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. Probably not then. Only go for fists (PvP-wise) if you can get at least -.2 interval i'd say. Also Telarith your endgame gear is so expensive, there are probably only a handful of people on my entire server that could afford that as a bm.
Holy Helm 30m
Deicide 50m
Lunar Cape 50m
Scroll of Tome 150m
5 pieces of TT99 100-150m
Nirvana Leggings 300m
Cube Necklace 100-150m
Two Lunar rings 120m
So far that's 870m to 970m, so let's say 920m
If you want to +7 everything then that's another 40m per piece, so that's 320m (not refining rings and the phys belt)
Adding Shards in:
2 Garnet Gems for Wep = 30 m
3 10 vit stones for everything else = 60m per gear, 360m total
So added all together 920m + 320m + 390m = 1.63 billion coins.
Personally I think the nirvana leggings really aren't worth it. To my knowledge attack speed cap is still 5 atk/s, so demon sparked without nirvana gives you the same attack speed as with nirvana. Also 250 uncanny crystals costs upward of 300m, which is completely ridiculous for -0.05 interval.0 -

The 4 APS would only be really useful when not primary tank, other than that it would be no different when soloing bosses. It does allow non-sparked 5 APS with Cyclone though, which is nice for chi gaining for heaven's/glacial.
Also, much of the gear I'm planning on farming myself, such as the leggings and the cube necklace: cube will give me something to do for the next 9+ months I suppose. Lunar rings I am unsure of whether I will eventually buy those or farm them, will depend on how the lunar valley changes wil affect that instanceFist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. i realy hope they dont dumb lunar down into a exp instance like they did to FCC T.T
really looking forward to mining tt 90 and lunar at 90+ >.<Gifs are hard to make work here0 -
Now that I'm more awake, might as well expand a bit more on it.
At lvl 100+, it's pretty much Nirvana/TT farming, and grinding in 3rd map from what everyone's said. This is where money is made, and farming is done for final end game gear.
So while the list may seem expensive, think of it this way: every piece of TT99 gold is saved money from not reforging gear. We need the benefit of them, and so won't be going final form on armor, which saves a large amount of money when we sell the crystals to other people.
4 APS is better than 3.33 APS in we now have more weaponry options available to us. Before, it was either Deicide or TT100 claws/fists to get 5 APS. Now, we can use even -.05 interval claws to reach 5 APS demon sparked. And since Deicide's proc sucks on bosses after its first proc, it won't be my main grinding weapon of choice. Revenge has a very nice ability for healing and extra damage, and Advanced Revenge has a good chance of turning out to be a real benefit as well. So with all those armor items, more damaging/useful procs can be used, rather than being stuck with a one time shot.
Also, for any who went sage before Nirvana came out, they can now get back in contention with higher base APS. They will need Deicide/TT100, but now they can start working towards 5 APS without having demon spark.
So a couple uses that are there, and the reason I'm planning on that route.Fist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. Go here if you want to debate about it. - Lyndura
