Aoe Grinding?

I know I'm only level 43, but I want I want to ask in advance so I know how aoe grind with a veno when I reach a certain level. I have a lvl 70 cleric and aoe grinding with him is very easy especially wood mobs. Now for veno I know you send in your pet and click every single mob so your pet gets the aggro, but I really dont know if aoe grinding only works with melee mobs because if you do range mob every mob would scatter around making it hard to aoe

Level 50+ mobs are both range and melee, correct me if I'm wrong. Send in your pet to hit they go melee mode and when you click hit another mob they go range, making u have a melee and range mobs attacking your pet, so how would I aoe this?

what you said, about having the pet hitting every mob to take aggro could work, but other venos (and me) are going to tell you that you need a herc to effectively AOE grind, because they have that reflect buff.

    hope this helps ^^

So I guess I have to kill mobs one by one? I was looking forward to aoe grind because you get a ton of drops. More drops and coins the faster you get SoF or feathers

AoE grind for veno is only efficient on [?] mobs like those in OHT, or Unicorn Forest.

AOE grinding does work just fine on mixed melee/magic mobs.
It does indeed work badly on pure ranged mobs - they won't stay in one place.

You *can* do it the same way a cleric does, but you'll want healing if you're going to self-tank it. Given the relative weakness of venomancer spells at later levels this is a bad option.

There are plenty of melee-preferring monsters to AOE on. It's not noticeably more efficient than taking them out one at a time, but it's an option.
