    I went demon, BTW. :P


    I don't see myself reaching 99 all that fast. And even if I did, I already use cloud eruption for chi. After that, since the only draw(other than chi) was BIDS, I just decided to go with demon for all the sick control skills. Time will tell if it works out, but I've heard there's not really a "bad" choice.

    Also Asher: Jesus man, take a break xD. And if you cash shopped to 91, please at least know what you're doing. I don't see a problem with cash shopping, just incompetence. :P

    Sage is the only way to go imo for mages. You'll be 99 sooner than you expect especially with this new bh system, FC, events like 2x XP weeks, hyper exp etc. I'm not sure what your refering the "sick control skills" to. The only stun you get is from demon stone rain, 20% which is unreliable.

    The extra damage you get from demon does not make a big difference. I would rather get chi than an extra 100-200 dmg to player targets. If you pvp often, which you will later, you'll realize you'll be better off using your genie's energy points on something more useful like absolute domain, holy path, badge of courage, extreme poison etc.

    The only good demon skill is stone barrier. But sage bids > demon stone barrier. Overall sage skills > overall demon skills.

    There's also Emberstorm, an instant AoE 50% chance to stun, which is the main control skill I'm looking forward to, plus some added freeze effects on pitfall and hailstorm(preferred since a good part of my gameplan is kiting).

    Truth be told, demon just felt more of a natural choice for me since I didn't see myself making 99.

    Guess I'll know one way or the other very soon. :)

    Grats on making it to level 89! Why level fast, I have never seen any reason for that. I don't think the game will be much better just because you level fast, in the end this is the kind of game where you have to work to make it fun and just being high level isn't what makes it fun it is the hard work you put into the game to reach that level which is fun. Good Luck on your leveling :D
