assasins can lure

Assasins can lure, but its harder and more risky than having a veno or using earthflame from zeal genie.

thing is attack the one u want to lure with knife throw. All mobs will go against you, then you escape from them (try not to get hit). When they reset (that yellow bubble on them), stop escaping, use windpush and go to the one you want to lure and use tackling slash on him. inmediatly he will start attacking you and the other mobs will go to their start places, so just go on kill him. There's a glitch where the yellow bubble doesn't disapear while they're imobilized, but don't worry, they don't heal themselves when they attack.

Q: "and what about those mobs who don't reset (loose aggro), like instance mobs?"
R: "well, just escape few meters from them and use shadow escape. then the same, use tackling slash on the mob"

i suggest you that before trying on mobs of your lvl, go try to mobs of lower lvl, i dont want to take responsabilities b:surrender. but really, this works b:victory

Umm wouldnt it just be a much simpler option to use a zeal genie to lure instead of using up ur mana/chi,etc? b:surrender

Anyways interesting strategy which I sometimes do on my archer (except the part of shadow escape) using either stun/aim low. b:victory

Obviously this is for when there is no veno around and nobody has a zeal genie...basically in a very crappy situation for luring.

Or option2: **** luring and AoE the **** out of the mobs.

At which point, if youre going solo, you might wanna atk a different mob. If youre in a squad, atk them as a group. As for the aoe-ing idea, Sins only have 2 aoes (unless im forgetting one), one of which takes 2 sparks to use. So aoeing a group of mobs isnt advised unless you have absolutely no other option, at which point, youre better off letting someone else aoe them. We Sins be real damn squishy. >_<

I lure fairly efficiently with my assassin. First, I'd like to mention that I don't use a genie lure because all my genie skill slots are taken up by things more important, things I cannot accomplish without a genie.

That being said, I have a bow, something you'll need for this little technique I've developed (Bow of the Goddess: Quest Reward).

    1) Equip your bow and shoot the mob you want from maximum range.

    2) Run away from the aggroed mobs for about five seconds or until you feel you're a relatively safe distance away and in the meantime, re-equip your dagger.

    3) Use Knife Throw on the desired mob.

    4) Continue running until the timers for the mobs you don't want expire and you've got just the one on your tail.

That last mob will follow you longer because, by hitting it with Dagger Throw, you've reset it's aggro timer.

Granted it's much easier to use a genie, but I can't manually Second Wind, so I think I'll stick with my more intricate method.
