Hi there,
i started playing PW few days ago, and made my decision - playing an assasin.
But i start getting in trouble with killing the mobs, I'm lvl 20 now, and after 3 mobs i have to reg, cause I'm nearly dead.
I use first Puncture Wound, then Slipstream Strike and then normal atk.
I skilled only dext for the first few lvls, and started then skilling 3 dex 1 str 1 vit each lvl.
What can i change, so that i can survive in PvE at this lvl?

Hi.Yeah it becomes pretty tough as a assassin in these lvls.i found it hard to at the beginning.i use the knife throw first to lure them out one by one and then hit them whit ravaging slash sense it gives me a attack speed bonus, then i take the puncure wound and slipstream.after that they are all deadb:victory you should also use the buffs as mutch as possible.Cheers

It starts to get a bit easier in the low 30s, as you get better skills then. Tho i dont think the Sin is the best class for a brand new player. Id have advised you to try the blademaster, barb, or a cleric first, as they (in my opinion) seem to be a bit more forgiving to new players. But, if youre happy where you are, have at it, and good luck with your future quests! ^_^

learn apothecary or buy from other players the remedy named "life powder".

increases your hp regeneration by 50 every second for 10 minutes. u wont use any pot during those.

Just wait until 29 and tackling slash/rib strike- I could use one of those with normal attacks and not heal for 4-5 mobs

Like what acceptance said, at your current level it is the best to use life powders. orr you'll be like me, having to spend 2 weeks on pot therapy after the intense trials of being a lowbie sin b:chuckle
no worries tho, the rewards of later levels will totally compensate for your struggles from 2x-4x b:victory we so pros 5x+

Yeah like others already said use life powders. They are relatively easy to make/buy. There's not much else you can do at that leve. When you get tackling slash take advantage of it on mobs that you can hit without getting hit. Rib Strike sometimes might be useful or it could be a waste of mp. Just keep at it till 59 or even 49. It'll get much better with the skills you get.

    Yeah, life powders are godly.b:dirty

With level 1 apothecary you can make them. 10 golden herbs and 15 nectars will get you 5 life powders (so 50 minutes of increased HP regen).
Id have advised you to try the blademaster, barb, or a cleric first, as they (in my opinion) seem to be a bit more forgiving to new players. But, if youre happy where you are, have at it, and good luck with your future quests! ^_^

Actually, venos are the most forgiving class. I put 5 points into vit at level 2, 5 into mag at level 3, 5 into str at level 4, and 5 into dex at level 5. Continued that almost up to level 30 and I ran into very few problems. Bought a few reset notes to take out the spare points when I got to higher levels (still have too much dex and I just started putting points into str a few levels ago).

But yeah, if you like the class then stick with it. You'll learn all the tricks to staying alive in time.b:victory

Also, most other people I talk to say Deep Sting is useless to level (and it is), but the high chance to put the target to sleep even at level 1 makes it worth using in my opinion (each level only adds 1% more). It's my 'OH SHI-- POTPOTPOT' skill (as I like to call it). Useful when your pots are on cooldown and the mob is tearing through your HP faster than you'd like. Also, when a mob aggros you while you're killing one of his friends then just put him to sleep and continue killing the first one. It doesn't always work though so take that into consideration. I'm sure that at higher levels there will be better options but until then Deep Sting has saved my **** many times over (and has failed me quite often as well).

Thank you guys for your help!
I'm going to try it with life powders now, sounds helpful.
I don't want to play other classes, i like that class very much, it's just kinda depressing, cause sometimes I play with my m8, who's a psychic, and he got no problems cause the mobs die before reaching himb:cry
I'll try to give my best to get higher lvl fast!

Ps: Sorry for my bad english skills :S

Oh, I forgot to mention. When you put a mob to sleep then it'll wake up if you attack it so if you need time for the pot to take effect (or finish it's cooldown) then don't hit the mob. DoTs (damage over time) that was applied before they were put to sleep won't wake them up so I like to hit them with Puncture Wound before sleeping them.

I can't stress this enough but Deep Sting will fail at times. It only takes effect when you actually hit the mob and even then it only has a little over 80% chance of working. It's basically a last resort until you get Shadow Escape at level 29 (which you're not far from but you'll need to do your Spiritual Cultivation quests before you can learn it).

Also, yes, life powders are your best friend. A cleric's HP regen buff will overwrite it though (and it's not as good) so be sure to tell any clerics who offer to buff you that you're using a powder.

Another Question, are there any differences between Genies?
I got mine from a quest, but it just gives me a buff when I'm flying, are there other genies? How to get?

The only difference between genies are the skills they start with and which stat they get a bonus to. The one you have, discipline, starts with the skill that increases flying speed (as you already know) and has 15 points in mag (?).

The one that's most useful is Zeal because it's starting skill is the only one that can pull one mob at a time. The genies with bonuses to dex or str are also popular since genie skills become better with more points in one or both of those stats.

You can get a new genie by trading in 3 mirage celestones at the Watcher of the Earth. Mirage celestones are made at the gem merchant (I think) by taking the celestone trade quest and giving him either 25 celestone fragments or 3 each of earth, human, and heaven celestones. There are also a few quests that give you mirage celestones.

I advice you to get a str build ginie(Infiction) and put much str to it,and get second wind skill it heals instantly and the more str your ginie has the more she will heal
And as it was mentioned before get Aphoteracy skill it is a GOOD thing as an archer I've learnt that they are useful, at the early 30 lvls you should farm Golden Herb and Nectar for LIFE POWDER, and after 30 to get manna too you should farm Crane Herb and Salvia root for FOCUS POWDER the first gives 50/sec HP reg and the other gives 50/sec MP reg
Nothing is true, everything is permitted
