In my other computer, the game crashed like most of people posted here, 1 squad buff, instant death, or stand there for few seconds after log in, instant death again.

After seeing Saitada's reply in one of the thread:
Ok I found out what my problem was and corrected it.

I have an on-board sound card that recently got fried, I disabled it until my new sound card gets here from Tigerdirect. When I re-enabled my on board sound card, I stopped crashing. I didn't have this problem with the sound card disabled causing the client to crash prior to this patch.

Soundcard is a C-Media CM6501 with current drivers.

~Saitada

I installed the driver for my onboard sound card (Realtek ALC655 CODEC), and now I tried squad buff and BOOM, no death. It may has something do with your sound card, I making this thread so everyone can see and look into it, otherwise not everyone sees Saitada's reply. Big thanks to Saitada! b:victory

Oh and WHERE ARE THE GMS???? The players are figuring this out all by themselves...

I want to discribe what works for me to help at least some one with the same problem (dc when using skill).

I play the game on a machine with ubuntu linux using wine. After reading some threads here i checked my audio settings. There was no audio driver selected in wine so i tried to enable pulse audio driver, log in and it worked fine. DCs where gone.

My girlfriend plays on a Vista Home Premium machine with a Realtek HD soundcard and there was the same problem. So i tried to reinstall driver for soundcard and directx but it does not work. The dxdiag tool sayed that no soundcard is evaible. So i tried to insert a headphone to soundcard and the driver says jack pluged in after this the client crashed no more.

Hope it helps someone and im sorry for my bad english.

Send a ticket to tech support. Please include a dxdiag log and describe your problem in as much detail as possible.

    YOU SIR are a winrar.
I can't believe it but plugging in my headphones DID WORK.

I alread figured id had to do with the Sounds, but drivers and all worked fine.

On that certain PC i dont got anything connected to the Realtek HD Soundcard.
Apparently when you don't connect something to the outputs of that Soundcard, it doesnt show up as a Soundcard for DirectX and games.
Now i'm about to make me a dummy jack so i can use the headphones again on my main PC.

    Thank you so much.

What would you define " crashing " as ?

I press a button, and it takes a long time to do the action, is that crashing? o.o

Because ive updated the soundcard to one called RTKVHDA.sys? version: 6.00.0001.5555(English)
Date: 24/01/2008 but i dont know if thats the most up to date one. ._. would a soundcard make me have delayed actions for like 30 seconds?...

No, that is called game lag, or network latency.
