New Lunar Drop Distrabution

With the New Lunar squad mode coming out, and with it costing 3mil to enter.

Do people think it will only be run by guild squads on a need before greed basis ?

Or

If its run by random squads how do you think the drop distrabution should work ?

Since if its like TT distrabution, can people really expect DD's to pay 500k (their share of the fee) and get last pick ?

Thoughts/comments ?

Note: This isnt about the Fee or the easier Lunar so please keep any QQ about those out of it

DD should = first choice any day, we make your TTs the diff between 45 minutes, and 2 hours. we will do the same for lunar; in a similar time ratio. lol

When it was free to enter we always did random drops,but I guess paying 500k and possibly not getting anything or **** as a barb too is frustrating.Yes it does only creates more problems since no matter what everyone says in ALL faction I cames before WE.There was no real need to make things "warmer".

Imagine this. As a leader I get 3M coins. Why should I stay in squad and not leave with 3M? You cannot use my name in forum, in WC. I think this will make from lot of players just scammers.

cause its not worth ruining the reputation of a character thats high enough that pple would gladly squad to decently do lunar runs? for a mere 3m...

I wouldn't do Lunar with random squads.

The best way to do it is have one person bank all the mats, so that transparent, essence and fragment crystals can be made and given to those who need it. Works much faster when you do it this way.

I watch DDs QQ about their hp charm. Then my eyes go to both my hp AND mp charms ticking at such incidents. i laugh.

lol, i still QQ about my charm ticking, but i know the cleric and barb are getting worse. But its annoying when people don't relise what a cleric and barb have to do in tt.

concerning distribution, i don't see random squads being possible, lunar will be a friend/guild instance. I don't see many people giving 500k over to a unknown player and hoping for the best. The distributions will have to be much different too, a BM/arch/wiz/veno will be paying the same initial cost to enter, so EVERYONE is a subber, and the drops should be treated as such.
and the cost to enter more than outweighs to cost of a barbs armor repair. and hopefully the cost of a cleric's charm.

maybe it will be worked out at entrance if tanks and clerics get some kind of discount towards the 500k per person entrance, which seems the most fair. for instance barb pays 400, cleric pays 300, everyone else pays 575. if there are two clerics they each pay 400 instead of 500. and the other 3 pay 600.

at the end, party members can buy the drops from the squad. Which is the way TT should work anyway. the same pick order is fine, because the person who picks the highest valued item also pays the squad the most. Whatever isnt sold to a squad member, or given to a squad member by unanimous consent can be sold in the auction house, and the sale price split between the squad members, same as belial mats.

If everyone gets and equal value of drops then the money works itself out, and everyone leaves with as much coin as the had after paying the entrance fee.

This seems to me like the most reasonable and fair system, will lead to people wanting to make repeat runs, not just feeling screwed over by the whole process and just grind coins to buy mats from the AH.

Honestly, imo the best way to do this is get a squad of 6 that want a piece of gear from there and start from there. Farm it and do it until everyone got the gear they want. Easy, simple and make everyone go there with a purpose. Not to mention that most people will run this with their guilds/friends. So if you can't trust your own guild or friends, something is wrong.

I find it amusing how most people are QQ-ing over the 3m entry...

If the drop rate isn't dramatically reduced they are doing you a favour making it easier and making it so that the split between the group in entry cost is 500k...

People do remember Lunar used to cost more than that in GAs and Charm costs?

But then again almost no one wanted to do Lunar when they discovered how difficult it was, so I guess 80%+ of these people QQ-ing wouldn't know...

EDIT: oh and it costing more than 500k most runs was when gold was cheap...

And again if the drop rate isn't too reduced then splitting mats on a fair basis in lunar is not hard, everyone needs the same mats pretty much no matter which piece they go for, and there's a crud ton to split

Whenever a barb or cleric tries to use this on me, I tell them good luck soloing your TT, see ya. If the cleric wants free wines for BH69, he can tank Polearm himself.

Let me make it clear; barbarians and clerics are getting worse? I always thought that we should say Tank and Main healer. See, I found that difference very important in last few days, cause when you get 2x barb and 2xcler in squad, they all demand priority in spliting mats because of their class, not function in squad. The most hilarious is when they're trying to argue, like: "but I healed you once", or "but I tanked few mobs/one boss". wouldnt u save 500k if you just wait for it on the AH if your going to pay for it anyway?

I mean you haven't even been in to check it out and check out the drop rate and just because it's a 3m entry everyone goes nuts, and to be honest... probably a little selfish when it comes to mat distribution.

I'd just go with friends that you have a certain understanding with and have the mats distributed completely equally. People shouldn't try to justify why they are worth so much more than everyone else, seriously don't.. you sound pathetic and about 10 years old.

NO you wouldn't because you are buying it from the squad (saving 1/6th of the cost because dropped coins are evenly distributed to the squad), and you are also getting the benefit of being is the squad and getting 1/6 of what everyone else is paying. and the squad gets to decided how much each mat is worth.

for instance if 6 mats drop all worth 200k drop, and each person buys from the squad, nobody has lost any coin.
if a single very valuable mat drops that a squad member wants to buy, for lets say 6M, the person buying will get an instant refund of 1M and everyone else will also get 1M.

See this is the problem, too many drops drop in lunar for it to be worth making such a system because everyone would just be throwing money everywhere. This is assuming the drop rate will not HUGELY change. To be honest, I've been in with a 99 veno before the change and his herc could almost take the hit's of the first boss, I'm wondering if this instance will even be soloable by venos if the difficulty is dropped?

Who cares about the fragments or the crystals... you do runs you're going to get plenty, it's the distributiona nd drop rate of the essences and tinders that will matter.

^^ This ....Frags and crystals you can pretty much farm in solo mode and get as many as you want.So can be left to random in squad runs
