Hi everyone, I am new here on this game. And i downloaded the rising tide version so eh I am kinda lost? Lolx well erm i dunno which update? Patch 1 or patch 2? and it's version 229 right? Oh this will be mostly english based? Becos I am from asia so reali new with all these

Appreciate it if smone could guide me abit over here. Thank You in advance~

    patch 1 or 2 doesn't matter since it merely be which server you wish to download the patch from.
    and um the entire game be in english

    The auto updater should guide you through all the patches you need, so I wouldn't worry about what version. If you're under-patched, it will patch you up-to-date. b:victory

    Okie dokie ty very much for ur help nw i am kinda xcited but totally a noobie in mmorpg b:sad So what job would be nice? I been playing cleric for other games and Seriously I die more den i can count for. So any suggestion here pls do state~

    first me suggest a PvE server not a PvP server
    (all servers except Harshland and Lost City be a PvE server)

    and why not just try out all the classes and see which fits you best?

    I would look in each class discussion forums, at the guides and what people tend to do, and pick from there. If you're happy as a healer class, go cleric. If you want to try out something new, PW has plenty of those too, from tanks to off-tanks to DDs to debuffers to lurers and to two new classes that haven't quite settled in yet. b:chuckle

    If you're still not sure, sometimes the easiest way is to make a few characters and see for yourself. The character limit on an account is 8, and you can make as many accounts as you'd like, so feel free to experiment until you find the class for you. b:victory

    Wow try all classes. Can create so many char? Well I have doubts in playing archer huhu but it's in my fav race ~_~

    Btw any1 try de psy n assasin job?

    There are assassins and psychics around...not quite as many as the other classes since they're so new. They're still finding their places in squads and such, and no one's figured out all the tricks that they can pull, so they're very flexible as of now. b:chuckle

    I have an assassin alt and although I usually hate melee classes, I have to say...it's super fun to play. b:surrender There! I said it!

    one can has me believe 8 characters per account?
    and um assassins and psychics be a decent class from what me has seen so far.

    yesh me can sense you be a non PvP person.
    and yep there be territory wars
    um......well one has to be pretty high level and have some pretty good equipment also has to be part of a good faction.

    me suppose me could recommend the Rising Tide server since it be the newest server out so there be more lower level people of your level range and stuff.

    There are Territory Wars once a week, and open PvP depending on the server. If you're not a PvP person, I would definitely recommend a PvE server. Heaven's Tear and Sanctuary are based off of California (PST American) time, and Dreamweaver and Raging Tide are based off of New York (EST American) time. I would suggest picking the one with the lowest ping for you, for the least lag.

    Open PvP is optional on all PvE servers. And Territory Wars is something you choose to go into, so you won't end up in one of those by mistake, or forced into fighting other players (except in VERY select instances).

    Oh ok. So now actually I download Rising Tide u see becos I din noe there is different type of well version. Lolx ok yea I am not a pvp person and eq all these seriously I am zero knowledge. haha so actually i m kinda really new but nvm willing to learn!!!

    Heaven's tear = PvE server which be older.
    Rising tide = PvE server which be newer
