Painful Pet Leveling, Maybe A New Way?

I have a lvl 48 Veno, and to be honest the thing that is bothering me most at the time is haveing to level up my pets. I know some would say, just go out & tame pets closer to my level. The problem is, witch I think may be the case for many veno's would be we like the look of some pets no matter the level. So here goes...I would post this suggestion to the pet leveling problem. Maybe have in game loot, vender items, or boutique items that can boost the pet in exp or level. This way it would be benifical for all players, and it would also make for an easier pet value guide in game!b:victory

    there allrdy is ways to lvl your pets for land pets go to cube room 4 (i believe)
    for flying pets go let your pet munch some staunch worms(not sure if i spelled it right) over on the island the tideborn main city is on only thing we need is something to help lvl water pets faster for some of us who wnt a lower lvl turtle pet or something thnks for reading & have a nice dayb:victory

    genies already get a % of quest xp.

    cube of fate room 4= 1 shot mobs for ground pets
    staunch worms=1 shot air mobs

    both of them can be used to level any pet regardless of level.

    Staunch worms arent 1 shots.
    And they run away it's 100x slower than cube

    They should implement a system like this... I got my nix at lvl 78-79ish (I don't remember exactly when) but it was pretty painful just to get it to lvl 40.

    Don't call me wimpy for that b:shocked

    But yeah... I'd totally use something like this, however I am a cash-shopper. If you made it an NPC purchasable item, I'd spend gold to get coins for it, and if you put it in the boutique... well for me that'd just make it easier b:cute

    1.) You obviously DO NOT have a veno and don't understand how hard we work just to keep (up to) 10 pets leveled. That's a lot of work! Try making a veno to find out how hard venos REALLY work (my alt is a veno) instead of being ignorant and calling people pet oracle noobs. I believe, if I remember correctly, with every level you earn, your pet gets to kill another 50 mobs ON TOP of the mob requirement you had to kill for it's PREVIOUS level! Now imagine having to do that with up to 10 pets! I have only 7 pets, 6 of which I TRY to keep leveled with my level, but it's DAMN HARD! The only reason why I don't keep one leveled with me is because it's a stupid snow hare which I use to tame other evil bunnies to sell. Now imagine being level 70-80 or higher and getting a herc or a nix. That's pure pet leveling hell in itself. Try doing some research before you state your opinion and look totally ignorant. b:angry

    2.) You are just downright lazy. I've done the worms and hello! You don't have to heal your pet, wander after it, or even use your weapon - just hover in the air! That equals *gasp!* NO REPAIRS! Stop being lazy cause other than the level 38 little dude with the umbrella on it's head that RARELY attacks (solar hex hobwekin 664 897) that's what you get to kill for air pets (above level 38) that are the easiest AND the cheapest!

    actually getting nix to lvl 40 or 50 its pretty fast.
    i got my nix on lvl 78,and i was lvling it on lower lvl mobs till 50.
    then i start grinding on my lvl mobs,since nix can handle it,so i was getting exp for myself and pet.

    You can already increase how much XP your pet gets by increasing it's loyalty, but AFAIK it maxes out 150% XP for loyalty > 50%. One solution might be to just add another tier or two - like 250% XP for loyalty > 75%, 400% XP for loyalty > 90%.

    Then you'd just need to feed your pet a lot in the beginning - which wouldn't be a problem if you're planning to hold onto it for awhile.

    (Note that I'm not suggesting increasing pet damage any more with the extra tier's, just the XP)

    The max experience pets get is 15 exp per mob, provided the mob is the same level or higher than the pet. That's at 100% (999) loyalty. So, the higher you and your pets get in level, the harder it is to keep the pets leveled to your level. And remember, pets don't get the bonus exp at the end of quests like genies do. They only get exp from the mobs you kill.

    It's been my solution for the time being, albeit, it's tedious, to just grind. No crazy stone or bh's.
