You might have better luck in the Technical Support Section.

Happens to me too. Usually only in the Tideborn areas or when a veno has a tideborn pet out that's doing something crazy. It also happens when a lot of attacks go off at once. Basically your graphics card couldn't handle everything that was going on and crashed. It can usually recover and you can keep on playing but sometimes it can't and the client closes.

It's really something that is the company's fault...yeah really pretty and shiny attacks and areas are nice but they are killer on graphic cards. When you start trying to make everything flash or make a bunch of really detailed stuff in a game where your already pretty detailed, something gives.

Happens to me aaaaaall the time. Usually in arch. The entire computer screen freezes. I can only see the words "Windows - Display driver has stopped responding" but the display is too frozen up to even show the window or let me move my mouse.

So, hit off at the power switch and load again. Can't be healthy for my comp though. =/

Been playing pw a year now, but only happened shortly after the first large tide patch and got worse since.

If you get it all the time, play the game in best performance mode. If it still happens all the time, i'm sorry but you'll probably just have to find a lower graphics game. b:surrender

I feel ya though, only a 128 mb chipset here >.>

Max out your RAM, Max out paging file size, Upgrade graphics card to the best you can afford. Lower all the visual settings till you get better equipment.
    See if that works.

Don't upsize your paging file to above 200% of your actual RAM; for example if you had 1024MB of RAM, don't increase your paging file to over 2048MB. You'll actually slow your machine down if you did that.

if you're around sure, drop me a pm and we'll discuss a place where we can talk live (as in not delayed responses through a forum)
